All the Taylor songs seem to be declining now, so hopefully the top 50 is in reach again within the next few days

14 in todays update. Can see this debuting 16-17 tbh. I really hope it peaks later on as it deserves way higher than a peak that "low"

This is sounding a bit better the more I’m hearing it but it’s still more of an album track than a single what’s to be released before an album.

It’s kinda like a diluted sexual but part of the production reminds me of Work From Home.

Climbed one spot to 57 on Spotify
Just because a Taylor track dropped below it. Not very good...

They always seem to struggle on Spotify now :(

If you actually look at the chart though there’s hardly any pure pop records.

If you think about it there’s not even a current boyband now (Jonas brothers perhaps, but again they don’t get hits aside from Sucker)

Girl groups and boybands just seem to have died a death.

Actually it increased streams slightly from 107,216 to 108,830.

27/07/2020 58 101,547

29/07/2020 57 108,830

Seems like decent consistency so far. This is how 'Break Up Song' performed in the same time:

27/03/2020 16 219,169

28/03/2020 25 157,762

29/03/2020 27 131,062

30/03/2020 30 139,836

31/03/2020 35 136,772

01/04/2020 36 131,866

Higher numbers but a similar chart trajectory. I really don't think there's anything to worry about yet.

I am so impatient! I wish we could just fast forward a few weeks to see if this actually smashes, I hate all this uncertainty at the moment!

This song has been stuck in my head for days now, If Bounce Back ends up performing better than this then I'll lose all faith in the general public :) :)

Back then their videos used to make such a difference. It hasn’t been like that with the last singles though, but Bounce Back was always going to flop, Break Up Song’s video was sort of a non event, as was Think About Us’.

Yeah but i feel like with a really good video it could have an effect. I dont know. I really hope it doesnt take ages to be released though.

Surely 13 of the Taylor tracks above it will be chart ineligible though?

Yep, you can only have 3 tracks in the chart at once. So it’s not as bad as it looks tbh, let’s pray that the good weather this week helps it

Up to 33 on Shazam UK. Break Up Song was never that high there, was it?

Up to 29 on Hot Hits UK and 11 on UK Airplay Rolling Chart.

It’s radio play is so decent but it doesn’t seem to be translating into streams/sales.

Still it’s definitely a grower so I’m sure it’ll end up matching BUS success even if it hits ACR sooner I have a feeling it will sell roughly the same.

Right now I wouldn't bet it'll sell the same as Break Up Song, which was super stable.

This is getting much more support on Spotify as well though and I have seen a lot of random international plays on radio.

I'm happy with how it's performing, all things considered. The positions just look worse than it actually is. Don't forget BUS had a vertical video in it's release week, too.

It's jumps on HH are really pleasing to see. Is HH the playlist where they move songs up or down depending on how receptive they are (i.e. who skips past certain tracks etc..) icr how that playlist is measured.
Take away the Taylor Swift tracks and the chart run could be: 25-34-35-42-42-41 which makes it look much closer to the chart run of 'Break Up Song'. Definitely nothing to worry about. Let's see how the nicer weather affects things.
