July 27, 20205 yr Confessions was a formidable album. Everything worked just right. It’s the last album she’s done that I’ve really liked everything on it. A masterpiece!

Madonna encouraging the wrong spelling just like Britney did for me with 'Everytime'. :lol: I think 'dancefloor' is a well-accepted spelling now even if it's not listed as the 'proper' spelling. 'Dancefloor' - the area in which people dance / 'dance floor' the actual flooring/platform on which people dance. :magic:

'Confessions' was on 1.74m album sales and 2.02m with all streaming accounted for, so it's eligible for 2x Platinum. 10m seems to be the accepted figure for worldwide sales. Just had a look at the first few weeks of sales for 'Confessions' and they're really impressive. This is how it sold in 2005: 26/11/2005 01 217,610 (+ 42 copies sold pre-release) 03/12/2005 01 110,527 10/12/2005 03 99,982 17/12/2005 05 102,947 24/12/2005 07 112,099 31/12/2005 10 161,849 07/01/2006 09 28,156 Total: 833,212 (15th best seller) Annoying that it was just 18 copies short of 100k in its third week. That 162k sold at #10 is the highest weekly sales ever for that position!
