It's actually more surprising it's in the iTunes chart, I can imagine someone streaming it

but spending $$$ to buy it, that's harder to imagine :D

(I am a little worried that it is going to end up stalling and spending several weeks not far outside the top 40 without ever making it in like what happened with 'SUGAR' but hopefully not xx #45 is already higher than 'SUGAR' ever got on Spotify, that ended up peaking at #47).

 

((just comparing them as they're both artists I sent to BJSC and it's still been a v long time since any of my BJSC artists made a UK top 40 debut xx))

same, hope TKN does not end up peaking at #41 officially

hopefully they'll add it to HH, most TikTok hits get eventually added

They band have had a show on some of the music channels over the last week where they all come together to do a live Zoom rendition of their album track Zoom (naturally). I guess that was enough to secure that lucrative iTunes sale.

 

They may have come second last in Eurovision but the renewed exposure they have now received every year since 2007 has apparently enabled them to take their career to over two decades long!

For a change, quite a bit of high profile releases out this week, will be interesting to see how they do

new James Bay, new Katy Perry, new Raye, new Zara Larsson, Dua-Hallucinate getting the single treatment...

I'm not sure I'd expect any of those you just mentioned to debut in the top 40 to be honest... :lol: (depends on the songs I suppose).

Yay for RAYE at #1, hopefully she can get what her last two solo singles equally deserved aka a hit! I'd have liked Zara a little higher but it's gonna take it's time whatever the position. It's fabulous.
