Which of these similarly titled Ariana album tracks is your favourite?

 

bloodline [from 'thank u, next']

 

 

borderline (feat. Missy Elliott) [from 'sweetener']

 

I had the exact opposite experience with these songs! 'bloodline' was really instant for me on 'thank u, next' but fell down my rankings of the album after a while. However, 'borderline' didn't do a lot for me at first and has slowly grown over time. I've just revisited both and I think 'bloodline' still just about edges it - it contains similar elements to 'Side To Side' in the production but I find it stronger than that on the whole. It's sounding more striking out of the two and is still quite fun.

Bloodline is a much better song than Borderline for me. I think Borderline is Ari's worst album-track on any of her releases since Yours Truly. Missy Elliott's verse is pointless and Pharrell's production isn't great. Honestly one of her only tracks that I consider skipping.

 

Bloodline is still my least favourite on TUN but still miles ahead between the two.
