This was always an instant favourite from the album for me. One of their finest ballad moments, imo. Absolutely gorgeous and their vocals are wonderful, as ever in their ballads. This would've made a KILLER wintery ballad single choice.

This was one of the most instant songs on the album for me  deserving of all the fan praise it gets. A missed Q4 opportunity as a single!

Monster In Me is pretty beautiful and haunting in the choruses but still one of the weaker points on the album for me.

It's a track that really shows off their amazing vocals though.

Joan of Arc is brill. I love the confident jams they make. They suit these types of a song right down to a T.

It's one of those annoyingly catchy songs that I catch myself singing without realising it

Yasssss :cheeseblock: :cheeseblock: this was my favourite on the album from day 1! What a full fat BANGER *.*

Ngl, I was sort of underwhelmed by this when it was first released! But it's an earworm and such a huge grower! The sass and attitude is unstoppable! Jade getting the best part though! We expect nothing less from the G O double-D E S-S. Leigh's middle-8

This is so catchy. It'd fit perfectly on Salute! The sample is iconic and actually an inspiring use of it! But yeah, one of the more fillery on the album (not a bad thing I just mean that as in I'd never have envisioned it as a single - unless we were in 2002 or something )

Love A Girl Right

An instant favourite for me. I'm obsessed with that Sisqo sample, I can't listen to Thong Song in the same way ever again. My mind always switches to this when I try to sing it.

This isn't a particularly essential moment on the album for me but that interpolation is standout at least

'American Boy' is quite annoying for me unfortunately :(

In the exact same vein as 'Love A Girl Right'... very nostalgic and a throwback kinda vibe that'd fit perfectly on 'Salute'. I find this one better than LAGR though. Their flow is perfect on the verses and the chorus is catchy! Again, I'd never have imagined it as a single, but it serves it's place as a strong album track.

American Boy is a lowkey bop. I never listen to it outside of the album but always find myself fully jamming to it when I do hear it.

Jade's verse is such a standout moment in the song.

This is cute. But ultimately I don't care for this at all. Their voices are stellar ofc, but I don't think the album would miss it if it never existed on there.

Also, LM5 >>> Wine & Make-Up Wipes!!!

08. Told You So

I really like the chorus in Told You So but the verses are a little weak for me.

I'm glad the album wasn't called 'Wine & Makeup Wipes' in the end though, even if LM5 isn't the best name :lol;
