Nice to see this in the top ten, hopefully streaming will make this "sell" even in small amounts as time passes.

oh my wasn't this supposed to be a covers album? when did it change from covers to GH?
That was never the plan. Her K!tchen Disco shows have basically been her own songs and the occasional cover.

I hope this stays top 10 for her, number 7 yday and 8 today so hopefully she can hold on.

I think it'll end up in the top 15, but considering that the main promo push was essentially her doing Instagram videos I think it's doing well enough. With all the hits being on it (bar I Won't Change You) it should hopefully rack up streaming "sales" over time.

She's mentioned a few times that she didn't perform I Won't Change You at the Kitchen Discos because she doesn't have the backing track and the masters for that album were all lost. Is that why it's also not on the greatest hits? I'd have thought she'd re-recorded it if she'd wanted it on there.

It's actually looking good for being top 10 based on the sales gaps of the albums behind! So pleased for her.

I’m pretty sure she’s mentioned a few times how much she doesn’t like that song or the lyrics...

Unfortunate, as it’s a bop.

I used to love the song but I did on karaoke a couple of years back, terribly drunk, can't listen to it the same way anymore. -_-

Yes it's really good. Although on the whole Shoot From The Hip was a bit of a disappointment for me after the fantastic Read My Lips. Loved Trip The Light Fantastic too.

I'm just glad Get Over You is on here after being left off The Song Diaries!

She posted yesterday on Instagram that she would have happily sung I Won't Change You during the iamspamspamamidisco, but she does not have the backing track for it. Apparently all the masters for the whole album got lost (expect for Mixed Up World, I guess..).

Didn't even sell 200 copies yesterday. :/ Thankfully it seems she will still have enough of a lead over #11 to remain Top 10 come Friday.
I ordered two cds am still waiting for them !!

That's a pity, especially because she ran a competition to encourage people to order some from her store.

I suppose it’s possible that data could be delayed. Tbf everything sold at a lesser rate than they have been doing during the week so far.

Anyone know why all songs are on Spotify but most of the hits are not on Apple Music ?

Sophie has done an interview with the Official Charts Company and has revealed her favourite and least favourite song. No surprise for least!

You’ve been in the music industry for over 20 years now - any embarrassing moments?

"Absolutely billions of them. The first was when I went to Australia for promotion and Ronan Keating was also out there. We’re on the same label and at the time he was asking if I’d like to do a duet on his new record and I’d just brought out my first album, so very politely I said now wasn’t the time.

"He messaged me in Australia and asked if I would perform on stage with him but I’d only just arrived and was really jet lagged, so I said no for now. I turned up at the gig – he was performing at this massive arena with 15,000 people - and as I sat down he said, ‘I hear Sophie’s here – I asked her to do a duet with me but she says she was too busy.’ I was properly mortified - I still think about it."

She's so funny

It's now finally showing on Spotify as an album rather than a collection...
