The global itunes chart is rubbish. She would have been top 3 yesterday but they just miss out whole countries at times and she suffered.

 

For instance at one point yesterday she wss

 

1 Australia

2 UK

9 USA

12 Germany

 

And everytime I looked she had one of them missing from the global chart

 

Will sink tomorrow as dropping heavily in states

The global chart I never really followed or put time into seeing how it works.

8th and 89th this morning on Itunes.

 

Hope it can stay in top 10 today buy may well drop to nearer 15-20 and the other version out of the top 100 by lunch time

 

Youtube lyric video gone up to 201,000 worldwide views (151st most watched Kylie video in history) so in UK that maybe about 10,000 views and 20 extra sales for the singles chart lol.

 

All add up when it gets low down in the chart positions so every sale counts

I think it might hold top 10 for most of the day then drop out.

I hate that she struggles so much on streaming especially with more and more people using it, I appreciate she appeals to an older demographic but we’re not talking about people in their 90’s! Kylie should have enough of a fan base switched on to streaming now.

Nope. They want to buy there CDs and downloads and that's it.

 

But let's be honest. It's the playlists that hurt her. If there where no playlists and just people playing the songs they want she would do better. Or just add her to playlists etc.

As expected Kylie out of Spotify top 200

 

Still hope she got a decent amount maybe 30,000 ish and another 100-200 sales.

Its def the playlists that kill the likes of kylies chances as with plaudits people are streaming songs they woylnt normally be playing.

If you had to just select songs kylie and others would have a far better chance. With streaming there is a fair bit of fakery where actual sales are the real deal.

Streaming guides people to listening to songs and in many instances gains streams they would never achieve otherwise.

Ya if only downloads could track each listen and give each listen points kylie woukd do very well.

There is of course a of songs in streaming top 200s that will not maek the official charts and also lots of variety as to how many where premium streams and those as based etc. Lots of weekend party playlists throw up some top 200 charts that will not make the Official 100 so Kylie would be in the top 200 I think if you take those out and also 14 of the 17 Taylor songs etc

2nd day: 387,715

3rd day: 237,216

 

Total: 968,964

Nearly a million stream in three days, that's not bad !

For comparison, it took 'Dancing' five days to pass 1m.

Problem is... That's WW and UK is probably 20-30k yesterday only.

 

Another red update and heading out of top 10. May finish day around 11-12? And the other version has now completely stopped selling.

 

Enters at 38 in the Capital Fm big top 40 and therefore the good news was...... It got 1 play just now on Capital. Let's hope a few people download it for that reason.

 

Still 1 and 13 on Amazon downloads.

Great that it got the capital top 40 and got a play which helps give it exposure.
