Those days were golden eras for fans of the cd single multi format.

These releases when put together served a full new album content.

Ya ot of material and good material came via the b side route and getting a new b side added great excitement to buying the singles and I miss that excitement alot.
The exit from the market of cd singles leaves a trip to the record store less exciting and also a gap in my Kylie singles collection.
I miss that too, i really do, where i live you sometimes had to wait to be able to get the singles or you would be only be able to get one of the cds initially but when i would get both i would be super excited and always excited to hear the b sides, i also loved getting live tracks on cd singles aswell as back then live music wasn't as accessible as it is now. I would have loved having a say something cd 1 and 2.

Happy first anniversary  I know this is only a year old, but it already feels like such a Kylie classic.

What a song!

It's quite funny how I associate it lyrically with longing to be together again after the pandemic, and a year on we're not that much further forward.

I also link the lyrics to longing to being together and a pandemic song in that aspect.

In years to come, I know it is a Kylie song I will still be listening to and equally it will map my mind back to the crazy year that was 2020.

When we get the next Kylie tour I am excited for Say Something the most from Disco to be performed as I think it will be given a big production with Kylie delivering a big performance.

The ‘Say Something’ remixes are so good - pleased we finally have the Basement Jaxx one on streaming now
While I still prefer the original and infinite version by far some of the remixes such as the basement jaxx are really good
Its a shame when you search supermarket online for Kylie the only thing you get is a selection of wines!

I went into Morrison’s and Tesco today to look for Disco - neither had them.

Morrison’s had a Top 40 chart but aside from Ed, Abba, Elton etc., it was mainly £4-5 budget/old releases available and mainly GH by the likes of Whitney etc
