Posted July 22, 20205 yr After the very successful listening parties held in other Artist Forums, we have been holding ones for R QUEEN Miss Britney Spears. [http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=236412]'Femme Fatale'[/url] was a lot of fun last week. It's TIME for us to celebrate Myah Marie's debut album!! Yep. We're up to 'Britney Jean'. I am SO excited for this listening party for many, MANY reasons :') The album that spawned the mega smash 'Work Bitch' as well as the single 'Perfume'. Over half of this album is Myah apparently, but there are a few tracks which Britney loved enough to record most of the vocals for. :') Here's how it works.. we all listen separately, but at the time chosen we hit play at the same time so that we are in sync and can discuss the tracks on time with each other and we can experience the albums together. Our past listening sessions - if you want a browse and have an idea on how this works: 01. 'Baby One More Time' 02. 'Oops!... I Did It Again' 03. 'Britney' 04. 'In The Zone' 05. 'Blackout' 06. 'Circus' 07. 'Femme Fatale' Here are some handy & useful links: Spotify: --- Apple Music: --- Youtube Playlist: playlist?list=PLeIAoV5umV0tKr_xCIBGnK-ylqdyxZoy3
July 22, 20205 yr Author The way y'all are gonna see that this is actually an album of bangers and pretty much "it's only a bad Britney album coz over half of it isn't even her" >>> :drink: (Iirc, the tracks that Britney liked enough to record majority of was 'Alien', 'Work Bitch', 'Perfume', 'Britghtest Morning Star' (I think?) and 'Now That I Found You'.) I need to find the post, but I'm pretty sure Tyler wrote them somewhere!
July 22, 20205 yr do I wanna be here or not  Fun Fact: Britney Jean is the first and only Britney album that I never bought :kink:
July 22, 20205 yr 'Britney Jean' was the first Britney album I ever heard minus her greatest hits compilations  I actually won the CD via a competition on Rich's blog (yes, BuzzJack Rich) and remember enjoying it more than I was expecting to. It took me way too long to delve into all of her albums!
July 22, 20205 yr 'Alien' is fantastic and a brilliant album opener. The album has some real gems on it alongside the absolute TURD, this is one of the former!
July 22, 20205 yr 'Alien' is a really strong start to the album  definitely one of my highlights! 01. Alien
July 22, 20205 yr I feel like instrumental of 'Alien' is very similar to 'He About To Lose Me' from Femme Fatale!!! and omg so much autotune!!!
July 22, 20205 yr Author A great introductory track to the album. William Orbit worked his magic for Brit! I love the otherworldly experience this gives you and is most appeasing due to the nature of the track  --- R A N K I N G: 01. Alien

July 22, 20205 yr Not Alone, Not Alone, Not Alone He About, He About, He About I just can't help it lol
July 22, 20205 yr Work Bitch *.* my favourite on the album, glad it's amassed a cult following to cement it as a Britney classic in one way or another
