The production when it switches is very Jorja Smith, I like it!
This is showing her vocals really well and should shut up all the haters who claim she can't sing but overall the song goes nowhere and does nothing for me :(
Really like this! When the backing changes it reminds me of Corinne Bailey Rae

^agree, thought the same, when the backtrack changed my first thought was Put the Record On

even her voice reminded me a bit of Corinne Bailey Rae

it's nice enough... but still would have preferred something bolder

At first as it went along it felt a bit drab, than the switch kicked in, than it suddenly clicked with me, I agree it does sound a bit like Corinne Bailey Rae / Amy Winehouse, After a second listen it just fell into place, ticks all the boxes. I love it.

I’m liking this. Definitely hear the Jorja / Amy similarities in the second half of the song.

It’s pretty good I think it’s quite different as well to anything on her album too.

I’ve found Billie is someone I love to listen to when I’m in a certain mood though she’s perfect for when you’re wanting to relax or when it’s late at night

I want the frog from the music video. xx

(I really like the song as well! I had fairly low expectations having seen the fairly underwhelming reaction it's got so far but it's done the job for me, can see why it hasn't connected as well as her other songs but it'll be a great track to vibe out to, definitely seeing the Amy Winehouse comparison as a few people have pointed out. I also like how hopeful the lyrics are. My first impression of it is it's better than 'No Time To Die' but not quite as good as 'everything i wanted').

It's one of those cases in which the lyrics are better than the melody
