July 26, 20205 yr Pixie deserved so much better. The Weeknd so close to number one, iconic that The Weeknd, Coldplay and Gorrilaz all flopped last round and slated this round!
July 26, 20205 yr slated this round! Yes I think we should all slate this round and the results tbh x
July 26, 20205 yr :cheeseblock: The comeback. That winner. That top 3. So much :cheeseblock: Going mainstream to get back on top - Just like Coldplay themselves in the 2010s :D
July 26, 20205 yr I'm kind of surprised Tinashe did so well this round! That isn't shade, because I like Just Say and voted for it! It just seemed to me like it passed most people by when it was a single, so it's nice that it got positive attention in this. I agree with you Rush re: Kelly Clarkson ( http://www.buzzjack.com/forums/index.php?s...t&p=6614584 ). I prefer the album version or radio mix! I do have appreciation for the Idol Version and I voted for it, but it's my least favourite version of the 3. Although I think we're definitely in the minority with this opinion. :kink: The artists I'm representing: I'm very pleased to see Carly in the Top 5! Admittedly I wasn't particularly passionate or confident about sending Super Natural (I like it, but it's not a super Carly fave for me). However I couldn't overlook the support it received in the Carly thread, and I'm glad to see a lot of you enjoyed it! 8th is fine for Mariah - #Beautiful, it's one of my favourite songs of all-time and my #1 favourite song in this round by miles tbh!!
July 26, 20205 yr That moment when the votes for both of Joseph's artists combined would still only be enough for 14th :cheeseblock: :kink: I'm glad that the sellout choice from Coldplay was worth it to get that bounce back from last round's disaster to this glorious victory. These results are overall great once again, second round in a row where 7 of my votes finished in the top 8, only Kim falling short this time and she was my 8th choice anyway! Would 'Comeback' have done better for Carly? wejustdon'tknow.png
July 26, 20205 yr Excellent work for Gorillaz and Coldplay to slay that one :D But clearly a lot of good songs bunched up at the top, I broadly agree with that. Good stuff.
July 27, 20205 yr Hope y'all are ready for some low-key discoveries. This free choice is a lot more varied than I expected it to be! (i.e. not as many big hits being used!) EXCITED.
