Mel has gone back up to #6 on iTunes good to see her rise again! One of them is a Now album so technically #5.

That's good, she needs to plug the ass out of the album online now and really get behind it, they put the work in to the multi formats so she doesn't need to take her foot of the peddle now.

Melanie needs to be getting on every single day time show this week, there is only 400 copies between her and #4, while aparaently 1.1k between her and #11. Looks like she'll sell similar amounts to Emma (ie 300-400 a day) with all the pre-order sales gone. Four days left, so she should be safe for over 6.5k, but might struggle to make it to 7k (which would be a nicer figure).

I can't see her holding onto the top 10. I'd say she is certain for #11 unless there is unreported sales or she has something up her sleeve.

Of course, she's done very well to get her best position since Reason, increased her numbers significantly since her last record and getting good reviews for a former Spice Girl album. A top ten would just be the cherry on top at this point.

If it’s not top10, I hope it’s not under 15.

That said, I’m quite impressed by the reviews. I’m happy she’s getting some recognition. She doesn’t have enough visibility to reach a wider audience and here the help of a Major would do wonders. Was it Emma last record released indie or?

On Sunday I expected the album to tank on iTunes. She’s up to #5 (#4 if we don’t count the compilation). If I were her team, I would invest all my energy to promote her Spotify.

I am beyond shocked she is climbing on iTunes tbh! Who would have thought?

 

Blame It On Me just passed the 1 million mark on Spotify as well, her third song to do so this era.

Well.... just bought two more copies today!! One for the Q&A and one at Morrison’s. I’m broke 😂
