Does Deezer count towards the UK chart?

It being still Top10 on iTunes is good, as it is its second day there. I know it doesnt count for much, but its nice it is holding up steady so far... I think over the week might be the trouble.

Was thinking surely she can get on all the daytime talk shows? She should be hitting up every single one this week, each one on different days to give her as much exposure as possible!

I also dont get why she never does Jools Holland show.... They are friends and she has toured extensively with him on his own tours and has recorded music with him. Yet, she never gets a performance or interview slot on that show whenever she is promoting/touring...

Relative to last week, 3,254 sales on Saturday is quite high for that position. Midweek #6 on Monday 28th (i.e. 3 days of sales) was 3,333. This indicates that this week is set to be a stronger sales week! I think Monday mids will give a clearer picture.

Also pretty decent when you consider Version of Me sold 4,084 across the whole of its first week. As you say, Monday will give a clearer picture - hopefully the promo of The One Show will have boosted it a bit.

A fan on Spice Circle is suggesting 200,791 track streaming on Spotify world wide so far.

 

No idea if that is any good, but I would assume it isnt that great or how many equivalent of sales that would mean...

Also, why not Graham Norton or Jonathan Ross?...

Graham Norton and Jonathan Ross are hard slots to get, normally you need to backing of a big record label or film company etc to get on them. Ps Jonathan Ross has been cancelled (thankfully as he was shit), I'd adore a Graham Norton sofa interview and performance though!

Oh I didnt know about Jonathan Ross. He was definitely quite terrible and mysoginistic, so it wont be missed much tbh :teresa:

 

Graham is a tricky one. He has a lot of power and influence and he has always been quite horrible to the girls, specially Victoria and Geri. I doubt he would ever have Emma or Mel B there unless they were there as a part of the Spice Girls. Mel C has the best change to go there solo, but the last time she did an interview was during the Spice Girls reunion and obviously she was getting more high standard gigs because of the reunion (and it is not like Graham was any kind at all to the girls during that interview...)..

 

But I would hope she could get in there at least for a chat. A performance would be amazing of course, but yeah she might need the backing of a record label for that.

 

Hopefully the Spice Girls do an interview with Graham next year to announce the tour :dance:

He poked fun at Victoria quite a few times for being a bad singer, but was funny. As for Geri, especially the old ‘You know what I mean’ Geri, I can imagine where this comes from, she wasn’t really the guest of the dreams as she used to not let the other speak.

 

I hope Mel gets to perform on TV a bit more.
