August 1, 20204 yr In and Out of Love for both. The song's been locked in my head since it debuted...though, honestly...I really like all four of these songs and found them all immediately catchy. The song question's a tight race for me. The video question, though, isn't a tight race. I'm not going to fault her and her team for having creative, high-concept videos. But. The budget does somewhat show in the videos for those first three singles. It constricts where they could have gone with the ideas. However, In and Out of Love's video is perfection. There are several shots I really like. Mel's in top form. Video fits the song like a glove.

August 3, 20204 yr Oh I wish I could change my votes now actually, ah. Who I Am is the best song but the best video overall is High Heels for me. Who I Am is the second best video for its concept, followed by In and Out of Love and then Blame it on Me. BIOM is last because it feels a bit forced. They included an interesting story but ultimately it makes no sense and kind of goes nowhere. It's a bit of fun though. The videos have been great this era, a massive improvement from her previous work but they all a problem though: they are all too dark. The lighting work is terrible across all videos and I can't quite figure out why as it seems like an artistic choice that simply doesnt work for me. In some frames, you can barely see her own features and the background and the dancers are consistently in the dark around her. It's a shame for me, as it stops me wanting to watch them more often... She used to be quite colourful in her videos, and it seems like the styling and branding here is also full of colour, so the fact that the lightnig work is so bad is kind of dissapointing.
