06. Pink - Just Like A Pill 8.61

UK peak: #1

Heat Position: #1 (2002)

Highest score: 11 (...ready for it, Shoat, Nina West, troublepink,, T Boy)

Lowest score: 2 (King Rollo)

Finishing in sixth place is the third single from Pink's 2001 album Missundaztood. 'Just Like A Pill' became Pink's second UK chart topper on release and first out of her original material. I'm amazed at just how popular this song since I'm not a huge fan of it myself. In the 2002 heat it scored the most points, finishing with 353, and now finishes as the top track from 2002 in this final countdown. It is not however the highest Pink song... 'Who Knew' has made it to the top 5 - where will it end up? :kink:

05. Robyn - With Every Heartbeat 8.61

UK peak: #1

Heat Position: #1 (2007)

Highest score: 11 (RabbitFurCoat, Jester, dandy*, SevenSeize)

Lowest score: 2 (Jason)

In fifth place we have the 2007 number one from Robyn - her first #1, and top 5 hit, in the UK. Funnily enough, although it is Robyn's biggest hit in the UK (and other nations) its success in her native country Sweden wasn't anything remarkable. In fact it missed the top 20 when many of her previous singles reached the top 10. The song bagged 289 points in the 2007 heat, finishing just ahead of 'Umbrella' which received 276 points. I'm glad this track is out. I don't think it deserves to finish top 5 of the entire decade. :P

oh really wanted Robyn to be higher, but it's a great result

surprised the Sugababes songs got so high, I like them but much prefer their early-00s tracks like Freak like me

Great to see Just Like A Pill at 6! Such a good song, and still one more Pink track to come!
With Every Heartbeat is easily one of the best of the decade so well deserved in the top 5.

I used to like the song but it got boring fast. Serve me up a Dancing On My Own or Call Your Girlfriend though.

04 Eminem feat. Dido - Stan 8.81

UK peak: #1

Heat Position: #2 (2000)

Highest score: 11 (RabbitFurCoat, Chez Wombat, Bjork)

Lowest score: 2 (Jason)

In fourth place we have the highest ranked track by a male and that's "Stan" by Eminem featuring Dido. It was released on November 21, 2000 as the third single from Eminem's third album The Marshall Mathers LP. It reached number one in twelve countries, including United Kingdom, Germany, Ireland and Australia. Dido's lyrics are a remix of the opening lines from her song "Thank You".

The name of the eponymous character has given rise to a slang term online which refers to overzealous, maniacal, overly obsessed, entitled fans of a celebrity or personality; the term has since been included in the Oxford English Dictionary. So if it wasn't for Eminem, stans wouldn't exist today :kink:

Stan is such a good song, I was obsessed with it when I was 12. Also it gave me Dido

Stan has done amazingly to finish in 4th place. :o Especially when you consider it's ahead of Buzzjack faves such as Bad Romance, Everytime, Poker Face, With Every Heartbeat.

03 Britney Spears - Toxic 8.95

UK peak: #1

Heat Position: #1 (2004)

Highest score: 11 (Addy!, Nina West, NickF1, UltraFolklore, JosephStyles)

Lowest score: 5 (RabbitFurCoat, King Rollo)

And now I present the Top 3. "Toxic" is a song recorded by Britney Spears for her fourth studio album In the Zone. Released as the second single from In the Zone, the song was initially offered to Kylie Minogue for her ninth studio album Body Language, but she turned it down. "Toxic" received universal acclaim from music critics, who praised its hook and chorus while deeming it the strongest track on In the Zone, which also gave Ms. Spears the first and only Grammy trophy.

The accompanying music video for "Toxic" was directed by Joseph Kahn and it features Spears as a secret agent and also includes interspersed scenes of Spears naked with diamonds on her body. After Janet Jackson's Super Bowl incident, the video was considered too racy for MTV and was moved to late-night programming

On March 7, 2004, "Toxic" debuted at number one on the UK Singles Chart for the week ending date March 13, 2004, becoming her fourth number-one hit in the United Kingdom, also peaked inside the top-ten in every country it charted.

Anything less than Top 3 for Toxic would have been a crime :kink: so well done Britney's opus!!!

Who Knew in the top 2! :w00t: :w00t: :w00t: :w00t: :w00t: :w00t: :w00t: :w00t:

I don’t even care if it comes second, it’s so amazing! :cheeseblock: :cheeseblock: :cheeseblock:

I’d so love a Pink win but I do think it’ll be All Saints. People seem to love Pure Shores but I’ve never been that into it.

Also I was shocked when I saw Toxic didn't win. I thought that and Bad Romance would be firm top 2.
Quite a refreshing top two here. I’m on the side of Pure Shores but Who Knew is also a really good song

02. Pink - Who Knew 9.05

UK peak: #5

Heat Position: #1 (2006)

Highest score: 11 (Rob S, Lewis, Nightcrawler, troublepink, Dannyboy T Boy)

Lowest score: 3 (King Rollo)

Finishing in second place is the second single from Pink's fourth studio album I'm Not Dead. 'Who Knew' became yet another top 5 hit for Pink when it peaked at #5 in June 2006. In the US it was originally ignored by American radio and only managed to chart at 18 on the Bubbling Under chart. A year after its UK release and having been performed on American Idol, the song was re-released and went on to peak at #9 - matching the peak of 'U + Ur Hand'. The song became Pink's longest-staying single on the Billboard Hot 100 and still holds the record to this day alongside 'Just Give Me A Reason'. What a turnaround for a song that was originally a flop! This is the only song in the top 14 of this rate to not reach number one - it didn't even come close! If it wasn't for King Rollo's low score, the song's lowest rating would have been a 7! So this means the number one is...
