November 26, 200619 yr This year hasn't had any more or less indie or rock than any other year :huh: I still say pop and dance have dominated the charts again this year.. same as they do every other year How many pop/dance/r'n'b no.1s have we had compared to indie or rock no.1s or even top 5s? Dance hasnt dominated anything since about 2000, 2 dance #1s this year... Pop has been struggling for a fare few years now, it had a bit of a ressurgence this year, but hasnt really dominated R&B is decreasing in popularity since about 2004. Indie-rock has dominated the top10 for most of the year imo
