Aston Villa v Fulham is the first Premier League game in which none of the players in the starting line-ups had been born when the first PL game was played on 15 August 1992 :o

Of course he gets an assist just after I said that

To be fair, he was atrocious. The fact he is anywhere near the England squad does show that we have some ok players at centre back, but we lack really good centre backs.

Massive win for Southampton today, can't see them getting dragged in to any relegation battle now

God how I love MNF on Sky when Carra and G Nev are doing analysis, great watch!

They don't half chat a load of shite though at the same time.. "Mbappe, Messi and Sane would love to play against Trent as he is not good at defending" Alright then, I will just wipe the 2018-2019 from my memory

Seeing West Ham in 4th place after 30 matches played is mad considering how things were for them at the same stage of last season! I have the feeling they'll be around 6th/7th by the end though.

 Love how Carra was raging when G Nev said that and then Gary went and picked him on his squad. It’s just a great watch they say the have decent knowledge of football and there the banter between them too.

Fair play to West Ham, if it wasn’t for Liverpool chasing the top 4 I would love to see a club like that get a top 4 spot!

They do play off each other quite well but they have some real strong unconscious biases!

West Ham have a massive game against Leicester. Surely they drop points shortly? Antonio and Rice injured. Lingard looks like he might have tweaked something too. Anyway fair play to them, it’s one of those freakish seasons but not quite sure I want to see Moyes mess up the UEFA coefficient if West Ham do get top 4!

That’s it though if they beat the teams around them in the next few weeks who knows!
I wonder what odds you would have got on West Ham being the top London side in the Premier League this season?
Still don't think they'll get top 4, you've 3 stalwarts of the top 4 queued up right behind them and I can't imagine they're all gonna be terrible for the remaining 8 games. Brilliant season for them though, thought Moyes was a finished man after failing at his last 3 clubs but he's put a bit of respect back on his name with his shrewd signings.

I'm pleased for Moyes, he's basically replicated his Everton team of about 2004-2010. I definitely think they will fall away next season, not least because their squad depth will catch them out now in the run-in. But they have to play Leicester, Chelsea and Everton still so it's still all in their hands. I guess the harder part now is will the pressure get to them. I do think if they avoid defeat at Leicester it pulls Leicester back in to the fold too.

As I said I would love to see West Ham or another random in the race as Leicester are now top 6 with how they’ve built on their league title in 2015!

As Mack said who would have thought with regards to West Ham being the top London side?!

looking forward to City vs Leeds next. Pretty happy United nailed on 2nd place kind of. I'll take that despite playing poor football most of the year.

Welcome to Buzzjack, :) and to the Sports forum.

Should be a entertaining game between Man City v Leeds.

Looks like Fulham flattered to deceive for a few weeks but seems pretty obvious they're going down now.
Interested to see what team Ole plays against Spurs. One with an eye on the next leg or the main first 11 to win the game? I think he should go full strength and sub in the likely starters if we are winning the game.

Aren't Shaw/Maguire suspended for the 2nd leg? I reckon he puts out a strong side.

Another absolutely TERRIBLE VAR call again. I don't even know what the VAR referees are doing, they draw the lines from different places all the times. The two calls over the past 24 hours have to be the worst ones yet.

You know Leeds won today because Pep overthinks his games vs Biesla!
