I wasn't a fan of the Matt Maeson and LÉON songs so I'm very pleased that after those two being big contenders all throughout we actually ended up with a top 2 consisting of two songs I gave pretty high points to! No matter how many times Aeroche have already won I'm always happy to see them take another gold if the song is good enough which 'Ghostkeeper' definitely is so congrats Leww :wub: argh at Klum actually coming so close to snatching the win at the last second though! Instead they just snatch the joint record (with Ramrynia) for most 2nd places without a win, with this being their 4th (and also the second time St. Lucia have finished as runners up) :nocheer: but still a great result *.* and although I didn't like the song I am happy to see Tartford getting their first ever podium finish :jump: and a good new peak for Mosquetania there as well, we like to see these fresh faces in the top 5!

 

6th is a great result for Land of DW, I predicted 9th for it on plug.dj so yay for it outperforming that even though it wasn't quite a winner contender! Also yasss for Jadakissnia meaning both of my top 2 made the top 10 :wub: good to see Terra Avium, Greenfroze and Bøtanikkä in the top 15 and FSR top 20 (hoped for a bit better for the latter but it's not too terrible). And 26th is pretty solid for Skall after they were way behind in last for a long time, Yves fans taking their time to vote it seems ~ New Lexico is really the only one that I expected and hoped to do a lot better than it did so not much to complain about here!

I have to say this has been a lot of fun, a lot of work but not the absolute nightmare I remember it being when I hosted before. It helped that it was an exciting contest and of course I was in the mix for most of it.
