They didn't even bother to explain the 2nd delay? I can't believe it's Wednesday & they haven't even announced the top 10 yet

The Dua Mafia are coming for you Billboard!

Mass buying has been happening for years and all over the world, in the UK too. That would be stupid imo and why do it now when Dua is supposed to be #1? That would be disgusting on Billboard's part to do that to Dua

It would be a testament to their lack of credibility and integrity as a professional organization and I can see people calling them to be boycotted if they try something that denies Dua of this #1

It would seem a tad unfair if they've changed the chart rules literally right before Dua is about to get her first #1, especially seeing that it's been a natural hit compared to other #1's.

Imagine if the UK charts were multiple days late — Buzzjack would self combust.

I do understand the frustration with Britney and The Eagles but they did still sell 700k. That chart rule was bizarre. There is no equivalent rule here that makes sense to deny Levitating when people can literally add all the points up already.

That tweet definitely did say they'll be announced on May 18 and that evidently hasn't happened, what is going on?!
Definitely something going on then. Such a long delay amd she’s not #1 after all the main predictions said she would be
4,000 sales were removed from Levitating according to Talk of the Charts

The article has some sort of explanation for the delay.

The announcement of this week's Hot 100 was delayed by approximately 48 hours while Billboard and MRC Data conducted standard audits on reported data, working with data partners to recognize and resolve anomalies.

billboard number 1: you want me

dua: i want you baby

billboard number 2: 1's not for u

dua: poor levitating
