September 2, 20205 yr ^The rule seems very clear that it cannot be combined 4.4 Remix and Live Albums Sales of remix or live albums will not be combined with sales of the original studio version.
September 2, 20205 yr Presumably streams of the remix album would be counted as streams of the respective songs though? And in turn those would contribute to the chart position of the original album?
September 2, 20205 yr Presumably streams of the remix album would be counted as streams of the respective songs though? And in turn those would contribute to the chart position of the original album? This is what I'm wondering - the streams could be counting to the original album (which has grown 13.9% in overall units week-on-week), while downloads are separate? That would explain its absence, I doubt its pure sales are high enough to enter alone.
September 2, 20205 yr Seems a bit weird that streams of remixes would count towards the album of the original version of the song but I guess that is probably what they're doing by the looks of things.
September 2, 20205 yr The Weeknd has a new song and people are still streaming BL which is nearly a year old
September 2, 20205 yr The Weeknd has a new song and people are still streaming BL which is nearly a year old Just because Over Now is newer, it doesn't mean it's better
September 2, 20205 yr The Weeknd has a new song and people are still streaming BL which is nearly a year old Why shouldn't they? I was streaming an album from 1997 earlier this afternoon.
September 2, 20205 yr Exactly. I'd rather listen to 'Blinding Lights' 10 times than 'Over Now' once, even if it is a year old.
September 2, 20205 yr Do we know if Fine Line has managed to stay top 10 for another week?? Top 20... no chance of getting back inside the top 10 Where's Chromatica? Top 70
September 2, 20205 yr The Weeknd has a new song and people are still streaming BL which is nearly a year old Old popular songs continue to be popular, shock. It's really not necessary to point this out every single time. Most music consumers do not only listen to the latest release by any given artist.
September 3, 20205 yr that's weird if the streams from Club Nostalgia count towards Future Nostalgia and not toward the Remix Album but anyway, it should be charting based on iTunes downloads alone, it was #10 on iTunes at the start of the tracking week, and many other albums have charted this year without physicals and doing zero on streams.... September 3, 20205 yr Top 20... no chance of getting back inside the top 10 Awe that’s a shame...but well done Harry, I never expected it to stay top 10 for 9 months, I reckon he didn’t expect it either x

September 3, 20205 yr Nines looking like he’ll get number 1 then. What are the streaming figures looking like in comparison to last week? Are we gonna get a load of songs on ACR or are they gonna avoid?
September 3, 20205 yr Nines looking like he’ll get number 1 then. What are the streaming figures looking like in comparison to last week? Are we gonna get a load of songs on ACR or are they gonna avoid? You think? It’ll be a big win for Warner if he does.
September 3, 20205 yr You think? It’ll be a big win for Warner if he does. Yeah I think so. He closed 1k on Metallica from yesterday to today’s update, plus the extra streaming data will benefit him when it gets added, so I’d be a tad surprised if he misses out.
