on iTunes and Apple Music, Club Nostalgia was doing much worse than those in the top 5

+ it's not out on physical, so I expect her to be much lower

don't think it can be combined with the original album

I'm happy with Katy's mid-week position. No lower than 7 I'd guess? With no huge hit leading into the album (barring a smash that's over a year old) this is good for 4 days worth of sales. I can see maybe The Killers and/or Taylor creeping above Katy & Disclosure, but I can see Katy overtaking Disclosure.

An all-new Top 5 are battling for the Number 1 spot on this Friday’s Official Albums Chart.

Just 3,000 chart sales separate the five new entries on today’s post-Bank Holiday Official Chart Update, meaning that the Number 1 could be anyone’s for the taking.

Metallica lead the way currently with their live album S&M2, the week’s best seller on physical formats so far. The US heavy metal group could score their first UK Number 1 since 2008’s Death Magnetic and fourth in total with the collection, out in-front by just shy of 2,000 chart sales.

Hopefully we get more detailed mids at some point, because Bank Holiday data can often be a bit slow. I wouldn't be surprised if there were some chunks missing.

I'm pleasantly surprised with Disclosure chart position as they were behind Katy all the time on iTunes. I was expecting Gregory and Metallica to have bigger lead over Smile and Energy than 3k so hopefully them being so close means their sales figures are actually pretty good.

Huge drop for BLACKPINK :(

I'm gutted for them, but this song just isn't IT (as much as I can bop to it)

but wait the update has Joel Corry at #1 not WAP!
It does look like a close race between them then! Presumably the gap is still very small.
The album update is up now on the OCC page, Club Nostalgia is missing so I guess it's considered a compilation

Is it not possible that its sales are added to the standard version of the album? Or is that not how it works with remix albums?

A mod will be around to post the update soon!

Joel ahead of Cardi in the singles, must be a lot of streaming data missing for that to happen...

I don't think there is any precedent for remix albums to be 'combined', I suspect this release is just not registered as an album for some reason. It might possibly have something to do with the fact that the currently released version is just a 'DJ Mix'? Apparently (according to an unsourced post in the Dua forum) there is another version of it with all the tracks separated and at full length that's being released separately next week, maybe that one will be eligible to chart? Pure speculation though, I don't know of any precedent for that happening either, it's a pretty curious and non-standard release in general.
What do you mean? The tracks are separated on Spotify, you can listen to track #7 on its own if you want. Its not a continuous track.
I mean separated as in not having each of the songs mixed into the songs immediately before and after on the tracklist. The individual tracks are playable separately on the DJ mix version yes, but they're still not the full versions of the individual remixes (and there is one track that combines 2 remixes which I assume are separate tracks on the other version of the album).

And yes, that is the update on the OCC website, we do not have a full update yet.
Not entirely unexpected but it's a shame not to see the BLOXX album appear anywhere in the midweeks.
This is Tuesday's update as far as I'm aware, I don't believe an update is compiled on bank holiday Mondays.
