Posted August 30, 20204 yr hrHI2_Ie-3wp46jvP7Yuk8 ‘Champagne Problems’ is a track off Smile, but Meghan Trainor had a track of the same name on her sophomore album ‘Thank You’. Listen to both if you haven’t already and vote on the superior Champagne Problems! Idk what the vote on here will be (even on Buzzjack, how many of y’all know Meghan Trainor album tracks) but this is actually really hard for me  Champagne Problems is ridiculously catchy and should’ve been a single but the lyrics aren’t great, they aren’t amazing on Katy’s one either tbf. Katy’s has that similar house sound (that I LOVE from her) and packs a bit more of a punch and builds up a bit more over the song. Went for Katy
August 30, 20204 yr I think Meghans is better but there’s not much in it. I just like the overall vibe of Meghans more. Katy’s wasn’t a highlight on Smile for me. But I’ve noticed Smile has a few fan faves I’ve seen people mention it as being a fave of theirs so maybe it’ll grow.
August 30, 20204 yr I'll go with Katy on this one. Why is 'Champagne Problems' such a popular song title? I don't think I've ever heard anybody use that term before. Is it an American thing?
August 30, 20204 yr I'll go with Katy on this one. Why is 'Champagne Problems' such a popular song title? I don't think I've ever heard anybody use that term before. Is it an American thing? I’ve had it said to me before (it was by someone who wasn’t British as I’d never heard it before  ) I took it mean that a problem I had wasn’t like a *big* deal in the grand scheme of things it was just a small thing the lyrics in Katy’s song at least suggest that’s what the songs about.
