This is definitely a different version of Trash. The vocals are different.

The version of "Trash" featured on their 2003 Singles collection features re-recorded vocals by Brett Anderson, so I'm guessing that it's that version that they ended up playing, which is a shame as his voice had declined a bit by then (although it's recovered since they reformed).

39 and 37 missing- hopefully get them at the end if they do a rundown....

My Top 5 so far

1 Trash

2 Wake Up Boo

3 Walk Away

3 Sorted for E's and Whizz

4 Girls and Boys

I loved Kula Shaker, but hey, this is a Joe South swamp blues track covered by Deep Purple, and revamped by Hayley Mills boy as pop pseudo-psychedelia, not Britpop. Seems anything that was British and in the charts which is vaguely rockpop qualifies

Dodgy...

talking of... :D

I’m not sure Jo knows how to do a countdown

Thanks for persevering Gezza!

Nice to see "Trash" make it, although I think it'll be the only Suede one that make it (unless Beautiful Ones' streams get it into the list). Despite having so many top 10 hits, they weren't usually big sellers in the long run (a lot of their singles only spent 1 week in the top 10 at most).
