November 29, 20204 yr JJ's as dull as dishwater and half the time he doesn't look like he enjoys being there. I remain baffled.
November 29, 20204 yr Clara was eliminated. I’m gutted. I know on the leaderboard she was the lowest scored two weeks in a row but I did feel she had a lot to give and I think at her best she’s stronger than what Jamie is at his best it was just down to the dance this particular week.
November 29, 20204 yr I’m gutted. I know on the leaderboard she was the lowest scored two weeks in a row but I did feel she had a lot to give and I think at her best she’s stronger than what Jamie is at his best it was just down to the dance this particular week. she hasn’t been at her best though except that one week that she did the Charleston, whereas Jamie has improved every week. And has gained a level of consistency. She is the weakest dancer by a margin (even surpassing JJ imo who turned out a decent dance when he needed to last night), so it’d be unjust really if anyone else had gone.
November 29, 20204 yr Such a shame to see Clara end up in a position like that and leave because she did show potential with her Charleston, sadly though aside from that she hasn’t given enough for the amount of time she has been there to keep up to that potential. That dance-off was sooooo close though and I’m not surprised Clara got a vote to stay as she stepped up big time, but the mistakes were still there. Jamie shouldn’t have been there either though - the love for JJ just aggs me. He’s not a bad/annoying person or dancer, he’s just there? And that’s not enough at all at this stage. Sadly the Scottish/impaired/army publicity on rotation will keep him around regardless especially if he’s doing a Charleston next week, but I hope to be wrong. Now Clara is gone though my final 3 hopes are completely crystal - Maisie, Jamie and Bill or nothing please. I mean only one of those (probably Bill) will probably actually make it, HRVY and Ranvir are more popular.
November 29, 20204 yr I preferred Clara in the dance off so I agreed on Craig. Jamie was better in the main show but in the dance off I very slightly preferred Claras dance. I’m definitely now feeling Bill Bailey is the winner this year but it’s quite the race to the final for the other contestants!
November 29, 20204 yr Aww, you could tell Craig liked Clara. I thought she stepped it up in the DO. A shame. Bill doing the AT to Phantom.. next week? This is already iconic.
December 5, 20204 yr Absolutely HAS to be JJ's time to go now, I know we've said that for weeks but there really is nowhere to hide. He's leagues behind the rest, if not in ability then just general performance. He hasn't had a single performance that's had any spark to it, he kind of just about does the right steps so that it's fine and not an ounce more. I'd have thought him and Jamie will be the bottom 2 but Maisie wouldn't surprise me either, I just assume the public will pay her dust every week :( Loooooved Ranvir and Giovanni's VW, usually don't like those but it being set to She Used To Be Mine with the story of Waitress helped  She's such an effortless ballroom dancer too, a joy to watch. She is so lucky not having a Samba or Salsa or something though, I can see it being her undoing when she does, I really want her to make the final as I love their partnership and she's just so likeable too.
December 8, 20204 yr Bill & Oti: Tango to Enter Sandman / Charleston to Won't You Come Home Bill Bailey (lmaoooo iconic) HRVY & Janette: Rumba to Only You / Charleston to Another Day Of Sun Maisie & Gorka: Viennese Waltz to A Thousand Years / Couples' Choice (Street/Commercial) to Getting Jiggy With It Ranvir & Giovanni: Waltz to Un Giorno Per Noi / Jive to Candyman Jamie & Karen: Quickstep to Thank God I'm A Country Boy / Salsa to Last Dance Idk why Ranvir has to do a Waltz the week after a VW, but that is her lane I suppose. Cba with another Commercial/Street but I think Maisie will be great with it! HRVY with a Charleston, the 10 paddles are out already
December 8, 20204 yr Also Jamie and Karen performing the quickstep to 'Thank God I'm A Country Boy' by John Denver and the salsa to 'Last Dance' by Donna Summer. Oh I see you've edited it in. Looking forward to Bill and Oti's tango to 'Enter Sandman'. Iconic much?
December 8, 20204 yr Oops the way I forgot about Jamie until I closed this tab and went back on the article
December 8, 20204 yr Tbh I was looking at your list thinking it was odd that only four couples remained but I had to look up who was missing. :')
December 12, 20204 yr Pretty poor standard for a semi final tonight, gonna guess Ranvir and Jamie dance-off with Jamie surely going as Ranvir will do her Waltz. Even Bill, whilst he is entertaining, he isn't hitting that standard you want at this stage. Ranvir's Jive was pretty awful, down there with Clara's unfortunately as just a total misstep. HRVY is 100% going to win and it's making me barely want to watch the final
December 12, 20204 yr I agree HRVY is going to win. Bill is brilliant and I'd love for him to win but usually when you get to this stage people start voting for the ones who are actually the most talented.
December 12, 20204 yr If Bill performs his Couples Choice again next week, he's got the win in the bag imo! Bottom 2: Jamie vs. Ranvir Edited December 12, 20204 yr by Jαsє
