Some great bands in that section... used to love Eternal back in the day  and NKOTB too! Love a bit of Beautiful South and OMD were one of the best 80s/early 90s bands, they narrowly missed out on points from me. Westlife are probably my least favourite of all the big boy bands but I'm very surprised to see them this low here.

I can't wait to see who the other person (or people?) is that voted for my 22 pointer! I'm shook!

Beautiful South were pretty close to my top 30 - I loved some of their early albums and carry on up the charts is an awesome greatest hits collection.
Westlife should be nowhere near the top 200. Granted they had a small handful of decent songs (Uptown Girl, You Raise Me Up, Tonight) but on the most part they represent the worst of pop music from around the turn of the millennium. :kink:

BIGGEST UK HIT: SHOULD I STAY OR SHOULD I GO (#1, 1991)

How dare you Buzzjack... Rudimental with 3 UK number ones in the 2010s got a single vote. :(

No other voters for The Clash? Educate yourselves people  ...actually I expected it. My favourite songs of theirs are Complete Control, Career Opportunities and London Calling.

Great shout for XTC.

Everything Everything would have been very high up a list if I had done one, happy to see they got a bit of love here.

Is it really necessary to constantly frame everything with respect to the UK charts?

If we're talking best Clash songs, 'Rock The Casbah' has GOT to get a mention B-)

Rudimental had some great songs but also some very bad ones :o
Westlife and Boyzone are both terrible karaoke bands :o

Oh I forgot all about Jamiroquai! Especially bad as I tried to include them in the male one

poor Smashing Pumpkins, they were so amazing (even if briefly)

the run of singles that included Today-Disarm-Bullet with Butterfly Wings-1979-Tonight Tonight was incredible

sad to see the lack of love for 90s US rock bands with Pearl Jam, Smashing Pumpkins, Counting Crows all gone already

I could have voted for Major Lazer. :P

I think I liked a Smashing Pumpkins song, but it's not Tonight Tonight.

i’m shocked that no one else voted for Jamiroquai... they r legends...
