One day, when they come back, I really hope I will get to see them live, but my god they do need a live band. I saw the live stream as I didnt want to spend so much money on a show with no live band and full-on lipsinc in the choruses.

The girls are absolute powerhouses and they can definitely sell the show, so I am glad I got to watch the livestream at least. I wont judge the show too much as I know that being there live is different but the vibe of a lot of it seems very flat and poorly done, to me at least... It felt quite cheaply made - from the costumes to the staging and the screens' graphics...

When they really hit it with the vocals, they are amazing. No other UK girlband can do what they do live, thats for sure. The set list was incredible, BOP after BOP after BOP though the lack of Holiday for me was really apparent.

So... I am conflicted, really. I think they are amazing and I will cherish them forever. What an amazing group, for sure!!

But when they come back, I really hope they step up their live shows. Get a f***ing live band, make your sound much more rounded in a live setting, and please sing a f***ing chorus for once lol

Hopefully they do a world tour next time and don't cancel Aus/nz again.

I fully agree about having a live band. This tour feels really cheap when you can just hear the entire song (vocals included) playing in the background.

My only complaint was the slight exageration of emotions as they performed 'Between Us' - they 'struggled' for the first part so and then sang note perfect for the rest, so it really seemed like the girls were acting up the emotional aspect

Think the note perfect part was the pre-record kicking in

Understand your point but in fairness they probably have had to try and reduce some costs without compromising on the show too much.

Covid delays, Having to pay Jesy etc...

Plus I’m sure the label wanted to make as much as possible before the hiatus.

I don’t think the actual tour felt cheap but I agree a live band would have enhanced things.

My only complaint is that they still use the same studio vocals for the choruses. It's time to update them...especially Touch and Wings, because they don't sound live at all.

see i thought Leigh Anne’s harmony was pre recorded until the final performance after show where she couldn’t finish it

I’ve said this on tour and it was scripted...

Someone was clearly like cut that section out.

the conversation of how every night they said how much they loved each other but it wasn't scripted as they do actually love each oher

I honestly see this break lasting 2 years maximum now, We know if it was up to Jade there wouldn't be any break but as the tour went on Perrie became the most unstable!

I've had the best time on the Confetti Tour with the girls! It felt so good to be back on stage after two whole years of no touring. I've loved seeing so many familiar faces and all of your lovely messages, so thank you all so much for all the love & support!

Leigh-Anne xo

Whilst I agree that they should have a live band (a bit more a budget for staging etc but that's just a wishlist) they don't need to sing their choruses live, literally no one does lol. Why would they waste their energy singing a chorus that we all know they CAN sing? It doesn't make sense from a singers' perspective, they lipsync to preserve their voices during heavy touring season not out of laziness.

You know what, I think singers should be able to sing their choruses. Like, tone down a bit of the choreo, work on your breathing, etc. It is just lazy. Plenty of pop singers sing their choruses, even if with some backing support. Little Mix literally just dont sing it at all and it shows.

Imagine thinking that 'why should they sing it live when we know they can sing it?' is a good take? They are singers. If they can sing it, then bloody do it lol

At the moment, it is giving 'They could sing it but oh well, they prefered to go the Saturdays route' which is a bloody shame...

It's easier for a solo artist to sing choruses live than a group. You can't ask three women to perform choreography and sing a chorus in harmony together.

You are right, though. Your post reminded me of when they sang The Cure on the LM5 tour and frequently stopped singing due to emotional moments (Jesy crying) and the track sounded the exact same with nobodys microphone held to their mouth. I understand lip syncing choruses with choreography but slower stuff or songs without choreo should definitely be attempted.

I still haven’t really processed this so all I’ll say for now is thank you to anyone and everyone who has been a part of this Confetti tour. Thank you to those who have contributed to our success over the years and helped shape us into the group we are today. This tour was a celebration of over 10 years for us and our fans. I’ve left it beaming with pride and my heart so full ♥️
