Hello and welcome to the 128th edition of the Buzzjack Song Contest! Yes, you probably expected the winner of this contest to be hosting this or even someone in the top 10, but in this case, everyone up to us in the last scoreboard either couldn't or had already hosted so it falls to me...however due to the intense workload currently on the admin Finch's shoulders following this unexpected demand, we regret to inform we won't be hosting the whole contest.

Thankfully, our ever present overloads République d'Áskorza (I hope I've spelt that right) have offered to give us a hand and will be taking the Semi Finals for this edition, while we shall host Confirmations and the Final. There was some dispute over where to hold this, but we settled on the mutually loved land of 100 Acre Wood, home of Winnie the Pooh. All our many years of shared snubbage of each other's entries has prepared us well for this x

Still even if we're not hosting this in full, we are very pleased to welcome you normal folk to the land of birds just a short distance from the base of the contest. Please excuse the rushed nature of the house, but President Orleé welcomes visitors to immerse themselves in the full avian culture while they're here. Whether it's an adventure your after with our Birds of Prey giving interactive Flying lessons and nest building sessions, a trip to colourful cosmopolitan tropics of Toucanopolis or checking out the history of our nation and the ancient Magpie rituals in our archaeological heritage sites, including the Chicken Itza. All competitors are also given very spacious bird house accomodation carved by our finest woodpecker labour workers, as long as you don't mind heights x

Oh yeah, and there's a contest to take part in too ofc.

RULES

- Anyone can enter as long as you have a registered country and have had an account for longer than 3 months. This excludes Buzzjack Mountain as they did not vote in the last contest, sorry m8

- You cannot enter anything by last month's top 3 artists - so that's Sheppard, TTRRUUCES OR KAS:ST. You can also not send the same artist you sent last month. You could enter another artist sent last month that doesn't fall into those categories, but why would you, we want shiny new feathers here.

- Should they enter, last month's winners, Bhangra will autoqualify for the final and if there is an even number of entries, runners up FARC will join them.

- Please take the time to look at the Songs of the Buzzjack Song Contest list to check that your song has not been sent to any previous contest or spin-off before as it will not be allowed.

- Please also take note of the Veto Framework as all entries will be subject to this and checked by the moderators and any entry deemed against the spirit of the contest or picking up too many veto points for previous exposure will be refused. Don't be cheap people, of you may get a visit from the Hawk Police, our finest officers who do not take cheapness for an answer x

I was gonna go for something a bit riskier after two fairly big hits but likewise, I kinda don't want to be hosting a final that I'm not a part of! :lol: I do have one that sounds like it could easily get through, but it's a little cheaper than my usual standard. I'll have a think x
