They've got like a 5k lead now.

Amazing! I cant see them not getting it now!!

Ed has overtook this on itunes, i’m sure it won’t matter now as it won’t count for much but hopefully the gap is still big enough for him to stay at #2 officially.

Surly they're still #1 combined though?

Yeah. They still have 7 versions top 40 I think!

They'll probs start falling quite a bit now, until Apple advertise them in the 59p batch!

If they don’t get the best group award at the Brits I will RIOT.

Well yeah actually lmao, forgot about the multiple versions

Has it been mentioned that its #1 in the Irish mids too?

Awesome! It'll be their 4th #1 there or 5th with 'Wishing On A Star'.

This is looking good!! :cheer:

It’s a real shame this wasn’t pushed to Australia and New Zealand etc. :(

I was thinking the same! It's literally begging to be a smash in Australia...

Maybe going #1 will help it’s worldwide appeal? (Well two other countries and maybe a few of their euro staples like Netherlands & Belgium)

I wonder if they'll keep it as 59p for another week? It would be cute if they did, it would be nice for it to get a week in the 59 batch.

Gap is actually 4.6, which is fine. Only 764 downloads yesterday compared to the 3000 on Monday.

Is it a definite at this point that they’ve got the #1 or is it still a possibility they won’t?

I can't see them losing this now.

They won't stop being downloaded or streamed today and tomorrow so I think they'll be safe.

Unless some other artist has anything planned of course

Unless like Adele released tonight, there's no chance they won't go to #1.

What's pleasantly surprising is that on the old rules chart, they're still #1. They didn't even need Ariana to fall onto ACR. They've never even been top 3 on the old rules before.

Where did the sudden explosion come from? Did everyone else just drop? It seems odd that a song that’s been out since October, and that was slowing down all of a sudden received new popularity.. unless the Jesy thing played a part.

Christmas invasion really pushed them down and then low sales and no new releases meant they shot back up to the top 3 when the Xmas songs dropped and the Mixers took advantage of it.

I don't think there's any additional popularity it's just Christmas falling away and streaming sales hitting rock bottom..

Amazon must definitely be a stronger streaming service now..
