Little Mix pulling off a seemingly bigger hit with 'Sweet Melody' is poking a bit of a hole in my reasoning for being so confident about Kylie getting #1.

Nonetheless, I've been stubborn for this long, I'm not changing now - Kylie still coming for an easy #1!!!!!!!

^hahaha I'm exactly the same

The shops being closed just scares me for Kylie.

I know people keep saying they are unimportant but at this time of year people shopping at weekend and casual purchases after TV Promo on a Friday etc must happen. Hopefully people do a lot of shopping on amazon still and grab one or two.

Doesn’t mean much with like 3000 votes but can someone change mine from Kylie to Little Mix x

My final prediction before release with some Max/mins x:

Little Mix - 33k pure sales (anything from 26k to 40k) + 9k streams (8-11k) = 42k (34-51k)

Kylie - 39k pure sales (33-45k) + 2k streams (1.5k-3k) = 39k (34.5k-48k)

Kylie has always been unlucky when it comes to charts... she has had the most number 2s on both the singles & album charts and so many of them could’ve gone to number 1 if released the right week... this week is another case of that bad luck, had she decided to release any other week DISCO wouldve been an easy number 1 but she chose to go ahead and release it with one of the biggest artists in the UK , Litte Mix...

My predictions are : Little Mix 47k, Kylie 42k

It's going to be incredibly close but either way it will be massively deserved - Disco and Confetti both serves.
Yep Kylie needs her promo to work. To be honest most of the general public will not have a clue she has an album coming out yet

I still think this is going to be really close..

Even if Kylie or LM seem ahead in the first update, I sense a battle to the wire.

Little Mix's album really is one of their best SO MANY Bops so I think this will work in it's favour as it feels very Glory Days ERA in hype.

Ain't bothrered about the Chart Battle now. LM will probably win

Now I am bothered about sales generation during Lockdown and Kylie being fit and healthy and ready to promote the hell out of it.

Can't wait to listen

Kylie would need to be ahead in the first midweek if she is to win, I would imagine. Little mix likely to make gains through streaming. Will be interesting to see how the weeks promo helps Kylie.

After seeing Ariana and Sam's underperformance this week I'm going to revise my sales predictions-

1. Kylie 42k

2. Little Mix 38k

Little Mix just dropped the album track 'Confetti' AND IT IS INSANE...
