It’s hard to tell with Drake.

His last “album” Scorpion cleared 60k in release week but his last mixtape a few months ago Dark Lane Demo Tapes did less than half of that. It’s difficult to predict which one this era will be closer to in terms of sales. I actually don’t think he’d pose a threat against Kylie or Little Mix in week one though.

...and finally the sales breakdown for Golden:

1 NEW 'GOLDEN' Kylie

Total Sales: 48,032

CD: 28,152

Digital: 9,010

Streaming: 1,870

Vinyl: 6,398

+ around 2,500 cassettes. Those streaming figures are dire, hopefully they will pick up a bit this time around.

as much as I adore Kylie, i dont think she stands a chance of overtaking Little mIX, especially since LM have the streaming, and promo advantage, Kylie relies mostly on her fans who still purchase albums from HMV and supermarket chains, this time around it won't be an option due to Covid lockdown.... so i think in the ebd Little Mix will sell 60k and Kylie 30-35k at best

LM only have their show lined up so far. They have the EMA's but that barely has any realistic impact over here iirc. Kylie's promo slot on Norton is stronger than LM's show, and I will be v surprised if Kylie doesn't have anything else lined up that week coz she usually goes as hard as she can on release week, right? (This is NOT a negative thing, every artist should be doing that!)

If it's as close as people think it will be, then I think the discounting of cassettes and CD's on their stores will be crucial. However, I'm still personally thinking about 38k-44k for LM and 55k-ish for Kylie.

I do think people may be overestimating some of these first week sales a bit. Lady Gaga currently has the highest one week sales of 2020 with 53k, I’m not sure if Little Mix or Kylie are in a position to have the largest one week sales of the year?

We're in Q4 (Christmas trading) sales are traditionally higher at this time of year (but it's going to be interesting to see how much of an affect Covid and lockdowns etc.. have on these)

It's confirmed on her website it seems that she's the week before. Can see her doing about 25/30 in week 2.

Depends when Ariana’s physicals will be out. She might have a good second week and a smaller drop % to thank u, next if that’s when we get physicals. We could get them later I mean she does have downloads but Ariana usually does stuff like cassettes too and I think she’s done vinyls as well. Depends when those sales are counted and to what chart.

I think she might be ahead of both Kylie and LM on the chart beginning week Nov 13 but she’ll be #3 behind both Kylie and LM in whatever order the week beginning Nov 6.
