This is so good. These girls are clearly so engrossed with this.

Love this criticism and "tough love".

The first guy & Zeekay are my faves.

This part is SO MUCH more interesting. I love hearing them talking about the technical aspect of vocals and harmonies. It's proving how much they know their stuff.

I think this is the first time I've seen Perrie act SO confident and not like this "ditzy" routine.

Loving this so far! Very fast-paced and keeps us on our toes - one problem with XF looking back is how painfully slow it all is as a process. This is already in the final part for the selection process. The girls are smashing it with their meaningful critiques and how invested they seem.

Zeekay is probably the strongest so far, but also liking Lee, Adam, Talis and Kaci! Can they be the 5 please x

Omg MY MIND *.*

Really enjoying this!! Fast-paced, light-hearted, and the girls have been giving out some really strong critiques too. The final line-up of the band is definitely the correct five boys too!

Adam is my fave x

That is DEFINITELY the best line up possible.

Very excited to see those 5 work together!

Adam, Zeekay and Kaci were my faves!

I preferred Tate to Talis, but then again I am fully not going to invest myself in this boyband haha, tomorrow looks to be so much more fun.

Really, really enjoyed that. The format works incredibly well. The auditions getting to know the members, seeing them being put through their paces and getting critiqued, performing in front of a crowd, having a deliberation of who will make the band and the reveal... all in an hour and 15 mins.

Now I just wanna see the rest of the episodes and see how all the groups work together!

I think the fact it was fast paced was refreshing. X factor's 7000 rounds got very dull.

So I really enjoyed this but I definitely do think there were a couple of things that could defo be improved! I wish the auditions had been a tad shorter, and more time was spent in rehearsals getting to know the auditionees - I think the girls critiques were better at this stage too although it was nice to see their personalities.

My other issue was previously mentioned regarding what they’re looking for although I do accept that this is shaped as the Band Room is formed - it is a little flawed though I thought.

Can’t wait for the rest!

This was absolutely fantastic! Such a refreshing change from the likes of The X Factor, The Voice, etc. with their tired formats.

I'm not quite understanding the critique of the girls knowing what they're looking for and not deviating from that though? There's no point in them putting boys with decent voices through that either don't have chemistry or just don't fit what they're looking for. It's far better that they know what type of band they want to create than following the trend of other talent shows putting five singers together, hoping for the best and it crumbling days or months down the line.

Their critiques were all great - incredibly constructive and to me they seemed like genuinely helpful comments from girls that have been through the process themselves, unlike the manufactured, controversial reality criticisms we've come to know with other shows.

Overall, very impressed and looking forward to the rest of the episodes! That was definitely a great line-up in the end (the only person I'd have swapped out would have been Talis, wasn't feeling him at all). Adam was my favourite (:kink:), but really enjoyed Lee, Kaci and Zeekay too!

I kinda said why in my first post, I just saw it as a waste of time when the girls themselves apparently chose them to audition and so would’ve known that a few of them weren’t giving the rugged and laddy vibe they were after.

It’s not really a big deal, it’s good that they know what they were looking for but I just thought it was a bit random (Talis for example doesn’t really fit the vibe they mentioned IMO)!

This is what XF needs a fast paced show, and stripped quickly all in one show in each category. The line-up is perfect but I would have taken Talis out and kept it as a 4 piece boy band. Zeekay was clearly my favourite completely in the zone.

Adam’s Insta 🥵

He also has an EP out released at some point this year! It’s pretty fab!

Talis sounds too Dermot Kennedy to be in a group to me. His voice (although not to my tastes completely) just feels like it wouldn't fit with a boyband to me. I can see him honing is craft and improving to become a solo star in all honesty (similar to Dermot Kennedy & James Arthur etc..)

But we'll see at the lives I guess :o

When it first started with Adam it seemed to be lacking something, was genuinely worried as it seemed really flat and the girls seemed to just gush over Adam and not much else.

Really disappointed in Jesy at the start too who literally said 'I wasn't even paying attention to the vocal' and her comment implied you're basically fit and who cares how you sound which totally contradicted what they said the show was about 2 minutes before.

Other than that, once it got going the show was brilliant, loved how fast it was. LOVED the interesting feedback in the rehearsal space (Girls really showed how much they do actually know and really felt like they are trying to find the band which is the whole point of the show obvs)

Then the audience show section was brilliant and really made the first episode.

Like above, The audition process should be shorter and more time invested in the rehearsal space as the auditions without an audience or heavy staging does seem a little flat especially when it's more of a vocal performance.
