After a close battle with Eminem, in fifth place is 'So What', the lead single from Pink's fifth studio album Funhouse. The song was released in September 2008 and climbed 38-1 to become Pink's third UK number one - and first in over 6 years! It may also hold the record for the biggest climb to the top spot from within the top 40. :o 'So What' is the global smash Pink needed after many years of moderate chart success. I feel like it also became the blueprint for later Pink lead singles like 'Raise Your Glass' and 'Blow Me' in terms of spunky attitude and radio-friendly melodies. It isn't one of my favourites from Pink but I can appreciate its worth as a pop song.
