If she knows so well the importance of playlists, she should put pressure on her label and management and have her added to HH

otherwise nothing will happen, which is a pity

Heaven on My Mind got crazy HH support, but not sure which label was paying, probably Sigala's

Annoying this isn’t doing much so far, for me it’s easily her best since I Could Get Used To This, it’s really gorgeous.
Is it too early to call this a misfire? If so, it will regrettably prove what we have all tried to convince ourselves otherwise which is that it is evident that Becky requires a big name next to hers to guarantee a hit, because on her own names merit she just can’t cut it. :(
You're right but ShiftK3y was hardly a superstar though. The song doesn't sound like a smash, but it's a shame it's doing so poorly. She did say in the interview I posted earlier in the thread that it's an important single for her but she's prepared if it does poorly and she's got other songs ready. Come on Becky :(

Hardly her fault or the song's fault if her label doesn't pay to have it added to Hot Hits

no investment, no result... so it's the label's fault

Yeh, I don’t think it’s about the featured artist but more about trying to get success as a pop act rather than being seen as a dance vocalist. As Andrew says, it’s not as though Shift K3y is a regular feature on the charts and neither is WEISS.

I think it’s wrong for her and the label to have this as an ‘all or nothing’ single. In this day and age, that’s only fair when you’ve got a MASSIVE single up you sleeves. Space isn’t that song.

Yeah it's not so much that Becky on her own, sans features isn't attractive to the GP but the fact that Spotify are so reluctant to support her. Space has done okayish on Apple, although not at the level of other dance-pop hits that do well on Apple but poorly in Spotify.

I hope we still get the album in March, I mean if she put I Could Get Used To This, Better Off and Heaven On My Mind on it (plus a feature or two) it could still do decent streaming numbers? Her voice is so perfect  yes Heaven was a bit autopilot but otherwise she's not put a foot wrong.

Kinda gutting that this is flopping - it’s one of my faves from her so far :(

Klaus has the best point here, the problem with this is it's not a big basic dance bop, not even now that the label have literally sped the track up to try and get it going in the chart. that's probably why Spotify were reluctant to support it too.

seems history was sadly going to repeat itself with this being part 2 of Losing (go and listen to this if you've forgot about it, it's great and really should've been a top 10) underperforming following the big hits of Afterglow & Gecko.

I thought my mind was playing tricks on me. Crazy that they did that, I wish I'd downloaded it on iTunes before they sped it up (as surely they can't push through a patch on an old download, or can they?).
