Preorders for the album were coupled with presale codes to the tour, so hopefully we’ll see a lot of sales coming through the store.

The cassette boxset is actually 6 cassettes as it includes one with all 5 members on it, so potentially 6 sales. I'm so tempted to buy it but what would I do with it? :lol:

He does! Scheduled for June 2021 https://www.garybarlow.com/tour/ - not sure whether or not he had the option to add an album to the purchase.

As a fan of both I thought gary would walk it but i think it will be closer now, based on the singles I'm much happier with Steps material, I'm not really liking Gary's new stuff which I'm disappointed by as I love his last studio album.

If Steps can repeat some of what Kylie did this week they could be in with a stronger chance. From the songs from both albums so far I have to say I'm much preferring Steps. Steps wont get the same bug promotion slots that Gary might get, I'm happy for both to go number 1 but this time round I'm slightly rooting for Steps more.

Isn't Miley Cyrus releasing on 27th now too? Can she be competition?

 

Steps will go all out with BMG success with Kylie we know they will work tirelessly

Me too, I know he is popular on these forums, and I appreciate his song writing talents with Take That but not a fan of him individually! Being a massive Steps fan clearly makes me even more biased though :lol:

I'm really worried about lack of promotion I mean Gary has got Strictly and is on Graham Norton and Sunday brunch I believe. So where are Steps going to promote exactly? Kylie got all those slots and McFly have had an ITV special I've heard nothing about Steps!? Not very impressed with BMG Steps had better promotion on their independent release!

Hopefully we will start hearing of some news on steps upcoming promo etc this coming week.

I think Steps may win this battle. They have been consistently ahead on preorders on iTunes. Steps singles have been far better than Gary’s as well.
