I don’t see Positions lasting any more than 2 weeks at number 1, its a bit too bland for my taste. I just feel Wels Nelson might end up as the next #1, that I can live with. Unless Adele drops new music anytime soon, it just feels like something from Adele is coming.

I don't really get the Bieber comparison except for them coming from the same genre :lol: Ariana's voice suits this sound like a glove and the production is magical throughout, I understand it's more subtle than her pop work, but even then there are livelier moments like 'love language' (bop!), '34+35' and 'motive'. If you're not into this sound then fair enough, you probably wouldn't want to return, but for me it's inviting repeat listens as there is strong growing power.

 

Looking forward to seeing what order the tracks end up in and hoping my fave 'safety net' isn't paid too much dust :lol:

Anyone comparing Ariana's album to Biebers has not listened to it! Biebers album is uninspiring which was surprising, this is a smooth r&b cohesive album! It's lazy trying to knock someone for not being your taste. The album will be huge luckily.

The Ariana tracks are not rising as fast as I thought they would on Apple Music. I’m not sure where the TUN tracks were by the end of the day though so maybe I was overestimating.

Positions is amazing, sounds so smooth :heart: Love Language, the title track and Shut Up are my faves.
