October 4, 20204 yr God I really... am not feeling this lol, I they're think the girls are slightly out of their depth with a band audition? with every other category they've had experience (and they knew a lot of boy bands and were on XF with a few - plus it doesn't take a genius to work out the secret to a good boy band) But with bands they haven't really done it? There's too many band-archtypes that you can make lol. Plus Youngblood is NOT the best song to use, considering they're all trying to sing it like 5SOS.. Edited October 4, 20204 yr by jsweetxe
October 4, 20204 yr I actually think the reason they've under performed is because the song they've been given isn't really a decent song to do anything with in my opinion? Like I know you want to create a 5sos type band but do you really need to be that predictable with it. I also feel like the gals are a bit out of their depth with this one! October 4, 20204 yr I think you need an entire show dedicated to a band formation like this, fitting it all into a 60 minute slot from auditions to final formation isn't how you do it. It's sad because individually a lot of them are so great and would shine in different types of bands, but not combining all of them. Like Dia doesn't fit in with the "showmanship" guys, Jacob doesn't either.

October 4, 20204 yr I loved the final performance with Katy Perry mashed in so good! I wish Billy had got through though I was really rooting for him, that song he wrote was gorgeous brought me to tears made me think of my grandfather and how much I miss him. :cry: :wub:

Him and Harry had good chemistry on stage together as well so I could see why he was picked . Matthew wasn’t the strongest vocally but he has a bit of charisma and personality to him which is perfect for this type of band so I could see why he was picked and then obviously Harry and Jacob were no brainers so I actually agreed with the girls choices . I loved Dia as well but she just didn’t fit the vibe of any of the guys there.

I definitely see why they picked both Patrick and Matthew, but I'd personally have just preferred one or the other. Neither are to my tastes, but I think they'd bring the grit to the band that they're looking for.
