It was too wishy washy with strange sound effects, like Oxygen. She had far better on the album. She flopped after releasing it and never recovered from the floppage. It is a fact that it killed ha career.

It's a fact, is it? LOL I mean, it is almost funny how you pontificate with these so-called 'facts' that only you believe in :teresa:

After Free Me came Maybe a huge succes for her and Free Me did v well in the billboard dance chart how you can call it a flop is above me

Exactly. It was the ONLY solo Spice era to be more successful than the previous one too lol Even if it didnt have a hit of the size of WTYSL, it was a really successful era.

What killed her solo career at the time was the promo around Life in Mono, sadly. If anything, Free Me revived it after she was dropped by Virgin

Free Me was great success for Emma, especially considering that all other Spice Girls were starting to bomb at the time and she's the only one who remains selling more of her second album than her first.
I'd also like to add that VB's second era would probably have bren bigger and she had just got a no.3 by the time Maybe, which should have been released first, was released.
Free Me was a huge flop. Had she released Maybe first, everything qould have been different. She might have even cracked the US.

Stay off the drinks cause this isn’t the tea

Maybe is a HUGE retro sounding bop, years before Amy Winehouse or Lily Aplwn or Mark Ronson or Lana came about!! Releasing that first, she would have gone straight to no.1 in Europe and maybe even cracked the USA. They'd have called it thr resurgence of Baby Spice and let her tour wih NSync.
