Jesy’s voice is a bit much at the start though. Had to listen really closely to work out what she was singing haha, I find that in general with her :’)

I really hope this makes top 40 next week seeing as NAPS did well and this rains all over it.

The chorus vocal mixing is probably my biggest let down regarding the song (and even then it's still a solid 11/10) because the chorus isn't harmony heavy, it's mainly Jade/Perrie leading (Jesy is very present in the first part of the chorus), but Jesy is the lead harmony during the bridge and she's also in the harmony towards the end.

Yeah I just heard her more on repeat listens, especially in the bridge. Jade and Perrie basically getting the long af chorus to themselves though 🥴. Good thing it's excellent so I won't mind as much!

I assume they want this to be nothing more than a teaser into the album and won't want it over shadowing the next single (presumably released next week), whereas NAPS had 2 weeks to die down, by that time.

 

Imagine if they pushed this similarly to NAPS and this took off, over the actual 3rd single? :lol:
