Good episode but do other fans feel the Kush storyline is very rushed.

To be fair a lot seems rushed at the moment purely because we had months of no episodes. Chantelle’s death, Raymond’s return and Frankie suddenly being a Carter are examples of stories I think would have played out a bit longer had the show been on air all year.

Denise getting Raymond back so quickly (or even at all) was a bit of a joke but then the show has never had any respect for adoption.

 

Last night was decent, just goes to show what happens when you focus on characters people actually care about. More Kathy and less Ballum in future please!

I think they've addressed the gap well, better than other soaps. Having storylines like Kush's gambling, it makes you realise that they actually thought about what would have happened during lockdown, even though it wasn't on air, like obviously had the show been on, we probably would have gradually seen signs before it built to the point it's at now and they have acknowledged that Kush started playing poker online during lockdown with Martin.

Little Mo mention! I'd actually love her to come back one day, although not to just end up in a Billy and Honey love triangle.

EE are doing a good job these last few weeks of using the cast well.

 

We’re seeing bits from almost everyone on the square but there’s no direct focus on one particular character or storyline.

 

Really liking the direction they went in for Kush and giving him a issue led storyline I also really liked how it tied in with gyms being closed through lockdown they really are writing well for characters! I’m liking Suki more and more too. Honey has been great as well what a scary episode that was when she was spiked.

 

I’m now beginning to believe the truth in the speculation

That when Kush does leave the show he will commit suicide. I think now it’s beginning to make more sense. I think the gambling will get worse / more extreme and I feel as though it’s about to really end in a tragic way.
