Such a strong average already! Thoroughly deserved though, there's not a bad song on this album. I think 'Read My Lips' might be my least favourite, it's between that or 'Step Into My Life', but again it's still a great song. Very funky, love the bass.

I love both songs so much I wouldn't put them as the last two, but overall album is so strong :heart:

Agreed- the whole album is so strong it seems weird there's even a last place! Ooh La La is one I enjoy when listening through the album but isn''t one I seek out to listen to

Oh my Step Into My Life I'd class as next single material :o

'Ooh La La' is probably my least favourite track, I mean it's good but it's a bit repetitive and the vocals don't even sound like her.

I think that the results are going how I'd have them so far! 'Ooh La La' reminds me of a cross between David Bowie's 'Fame' and Grace Jones' 'Pull Up to the Bumper', which gives it a huge tick for me, however the rest of the album is just that much stronger!

Even with a high average, Mirage is so underrated!! So funky <3

I appreciate 'In Your Eyes' (along with 'Step Into My Life') for slowing down the pace and giving you a breather before it picks up again. IYE in particular is gorgeous. :wub:

 

I adore 'Mirage' so much, I'd probably place it higher but then I have been obsessively loving it for a long time prior to the album coming out.

'Ooh La La' is too low - other than that these results so far are pretty in line with how I rated them.

 

I'd normally be a bit :') at the last placed song in a rate having an average over 7 but I think it makes sense for this album, the sound is very cohesive and there aren't really any songs that stick out as weak links.

Kind of surprised that one is so low as that's the one song from the album that I've felt is a little overrated! (In terms of cropping up a lot in people's biggest faves from the album)

I think I've settled on this being my favourite album of 2020, and there were a lot of brilliant albums released last year. It's a thrilling ride from start to finish, really varied with a range of styles and influences but flows as a cohesive body of work. Her voice is mesmerising and I don't think there's a bad track on it.
