Kylie is going to take it, even with streaming LM won’t sell as many physicals.

 

 

Little Mix are fairly strong physical sellers though !

Tbf 'LM5' did slightly better on pure sales than 'Golden' did in its first week (47,384 vs. 46,162).

Looking at it, it's going to take a lot for Kylie to beat them..they have it.

There popularity has waned and streaming numbers won’t be what some are saying, I will be surprised if it’s more than 10,000, Kylie has sold over 30,000 easily in pre sales.

Little Mix have won the battle by the looks of it but it is all a bit desperate, especially from Kylie. Some of you are funny, if these tactics were being used by other artists you'd be saying how pathetic they are.

I think everyone’s overestimating LM...

 

Sales were much higher in 2018, like others have said they maybe aren’t quite as big now as they were on the back of WLM and having X-Factor performances etc...

 

I genuinely think Kylie will smash it, LM physical / digital sales will drop off Quicker than Kylie I think.

I don't like either more than the other to be fair.

Obviously we'll see how they're holding up throughout the week but their streaming is better now than it was for LM5 and they almost hit 10,000 then.

If todays sales are correct, Kylie has a 3k advantage, i know streaming isn't counted and Little Mix will gain there, both have casual sales to get and kylie will pick up some streaming points but prob a nice bit lower than little mix. Both have great sales for 1 day, 30k for kylie an 27k for Little Mix. Them sales alone would be seen as fairly ok for a full weeks sales so both should be easily topping 40k at worst.

Hope this doesn’t sound like a stupid question but.. Kylie and Little Mox both had 24k and 25k in preorders I think? So today’s updates as great as they were technically means that Kylie only sold an extra 5k on its first day of release and LM did 3k which really isn’t a lot ? Bringing the tallies up to 30k and 27k?

Yeah totally Kylie has it in the bag.

 

Unless the EMA’s give Little Mix a huge boost which is never going to happen.

 

 

I think those preorder numbers were before Kylie released the special Spotify vinyl so she probably was a little higher than that by release day.

Kylie has loads of promo coming yet which should help eat away at the streaming advantage little mix will have, plus kylie will pick up some streaming points.

What were Bruce Springsteen's most recent #1 album sales? I'd like to think Spotify and such wouldn't have helped him either? I want to say Kylie just because she'll have a big physical market and unlike Bruce, actually has a rabid fanbase that would buy a signed CD in every colour just to get her to the top, especially if they know whom she's up against. Are there any "get K to #1" campaigns going on in SayGay?

I do think Kylie only having a 3k lead before streaming factors in probably means Little Mix will end up overtaking her now. But who knows ~
