Yes, Jesy decided not to appear on the finale of their TV show and the hosting gig at the EMAs just to sell a couple extra copies. You all got her! Nice detective work!

Besides Little Mix with streaming added should beat Kylie now unless Kylie and her team have more ideas up their sleeve but I can see Little Mix pulling out all the stops, I think come Monday the gap will be identical if not Little Mix in the lead.

Little Mix have barely done anything different this release week.

 

It's Kylie that seems to want it more and entering into all sorts of tactics (Which I respect) and BMG have commented on the battle etc..

 

BUT

 

Little Mix haven't done anything as yet and are selling off their own merit.

You're encouraging comments like that with "!!!" all for a bit of clout??? I and many others suffer from mental health issues so it's not something I take lightly.

 

I wasn't personal by saying "on another planet" and it's not nice to downlay things like that by being called dramatic.

How do you stream an album to count towards the charts? Is it playing 10 straight songs from the album in a row secures 1 whole album stream and then 100 streams count as 1 sale? I'm so lost with streaming and how it works in charts!

 

If this is the case though, then when you look at the streams for the respective album songs (that haven't already been released prior to the album) Little Mix seem to be around 15,000 average per song and Kylie seems to be on 5000 average per song on yesterdays streams. What that means in terms of adding to the sales total I don't know. Also, I'm guessing these are world-wide streams so who knows what the UK figure is.

So Kylie has already sold more than kiss me once achieved in its first week. Hopefully, she can keep the lead but even if she doesn’t, she’s still sold more than most number one albums this year.

Yeah I second this. I listened to half kylies album before but then a podcast. Does that not count as a stream then? Pls help

I think their pure sales will be very similar come the week end with Kylie slightly ahead, but I do now think streaming will give Little Mix the victory.

 

Personally I think Kylie will easily get another Number 1 album, whilst LM would probably benefit from it more - with people constantly saying they’re past their best / on their way out, it would shut those people up a little.

 

Plus I do find it so great that in terms of modern success, Kylie has completely eclipsed Madonna.

Kylie having a lead like that before streaming would deffo indicate LM are gonna win, but I have a feeling this is gonna be close af right the way through. I'd still say Little Mix but I'm not certain at all. Kylie's album is better but I'd love to see LM take the #1. I don't mind that much tbh, they both deserve it.
