November 12, 20204 yr A fan of 'Higher' over here! :hi: Might not be essential Kylie but it is a bop. 'Wouldn't Change a Thing' was a lovely addition to the Golden Tour after not performing it since 1991! It's interesting to see how well these songs hold up with updated production. 'Slow' took its time to work on me but I've loved it for a while now. So sultry! I love the tour reworkings of it, it's such a versatile song: the mashups with Bowie, Donna Summer and Kylie's own 'The One' as part of the Step Back in Time megamix in particular!
November 13, 20204 yr Interesting rankings and totally different to mine. Magic would be in the T10 along with slow.
November 13, 20204 yr Finer Feelings     one of her very best but didnt even get a place on Step Back Greatest hits.

November 13, 20204 yr Author vTRuTYo7et8 26 Breathe 27 Flower 28 Put Your Hands Up (If You Feel Love) 29 Wow 30 I Should Be So Lucky Slowly getting there, and we're into the top 30 now. :o Ahead of all the others in this section is Breathe, quite possibly the most stunning track from Impossible Princess for me. I immediately loved the song when I first heard it, and it's one that I really wish could be performed live more. I remember being SO excited when this was the opening interlude for one of the tours, and it was just really amazing to see it getting a moment like that to shine. Flower, an unreleased track that was performed on the X2008 tour, went on to become a single a while after we'd first heard it, and the studio version was absolutely worth the wait! Part of the Abbey Road Sessions, Flower is a stunning little track that I feel is cruelly overlooked. Another unpopular opinion incoming here, but Put Your Hands Up (If You Feel Love) is by far one of the best things to come from the Aphrodite era, and I'm just upset this song didn't have more of a moment in the sun. It's such an amazing, feel-good track that just makes me want to get up and dance! Kylie at her best. Another bop in the form of Wow, and this was one of the singles from X that has sometimes become another victim of tour re-workings too with an annoying version being performed on the Aphrodite: Les Folies tour, but thankfully it's avoided such a fate since. It's a great track, and iconic now, a staple of Kylie's discography. Finally here, we have I Should Be So Lucky, undoubtedly one of the songs Joe Public would associate with Kylie. The bathtub moment, early Kylie, iconic chorus, and one that I always love hearing live all these years down the line. A great single, and a highlight from the Showgirl tour too!
November 14, 20204 yr I agree flower is very overlooked, it's a really great sing that deserves more and same for breathe. I live all 5 songs in your latest reveal.

November 14, 20204 yr Author q9t6wef5xlE 21 A Lifetime to Repair 22 Hand on Your Heart 23 Never Too Late 24 Your Disco Needs You 25 Put Yourself in My Place Just missing out on a spot in the top 20 Kylie singles is one of the more recent from the Golden era - A Lifetime to Repair. This was immediately one of my favourites from the album, and the performances on both The X Factor and the Golden tour itself were amazing! It's just perfectly Kylie, and the chorus goes OFF. Lots of love for it, and it just gets better with each listen too. Hand on Your Heart, harking back to the Enjoy Yourself era, is another Kylie single that I always love hearing live, and one that I go back to very often. It's pure perfect Kylie pop, and it works so well. Definitely one of the best songs on Enjoy Yourself, and from early-Kylie in general really. More early Kylie in the form of Never Too Late, and this is one that I just adore so much. Again, it has a chorus that is just so infectious. The one performance of this I'll never forget is from the Kiss Me Once tour in the dollhouse medley - it was perfect. A special nod to the Abbey Road version of this too which is simply stunning. Your Disco Needs You seems to be a bit marmite with fans - you either love it or hate it, and I'm firmly in team LOVE. It's camp, it's amazing. The video is great. It's iconic and my earliest memory of this is from the Showgirl tour, and what a way to introduce it to me - leaving the stage after finishing I Should Be So Lucky, then coming back with the cork-like hat to finish the act off with this. She did that. Finally, a more laid-back, relaxed affair to finish the section off - Put Yourself in My Place lands at #25. This is just a beautiful song. So dreamy and mesmerising - I'm gonna talk about it again (oop), but the performance of this from the Showgirl tour is another incredible one. She just nails the vocals, and it absolutely deserves to be this high; I feel it can sometimes go forgotten, and undeservedly so!!
November 15, 20204 yr Author A lifetime to repair much too high for me. It's such a tune though
November 21, 20204 yr Author Jay and Carol with the taste  Top 20 time now - any predictions? :o
November 21, 20204 yr Author Nj6IKIPteuE 19 In My Arms 20 Shocked Time for the top 20 Kylie singles now! In My Arms, the third single taken from X, and one produced by Calvin Harris! I absolutely loved the song when it was released, and it's definitely one of the strongest on X, while being very pop but quite breezy and chilled at the same time. I think some of my fondest memories of the song are the performance from the X2008 tour - that whole segment was fantastic - and the video reminded me of some old-school Kylie videos in certain parts. It's still a great song to this day, but is probably lower down than it would have been back when it was released just because everything else that's come along since, or even some old favourites, I'm more fond of. At #20 is Shocked, from Kylie's third album Rhythm of Love. Obviously there are variations of this song that enhance it and make it more groovy, but for me the original is just as good and still holds up well today. It has such an infectious chorus, and one that you can tell Kylie loves performing live. Hearing it on both the Showgirl and Showgirl Homecoming tours was great - so fun and care-free. I was shocked to my very foundation at just how much of a favourite this became and continues to be x
November 21, 20204 yr Lifetime to Repair and Your Disco Needs You should play no part in this countdown ....
