There's only so much Little Mix fans can do... if Nathan and his team aren't willing to give it the streaming playlist support that his previous songs got, then... :lol:

 

I'm hoping the physicals give it a nice boost next week and hopefully it can finally crack top 50 on Spotify!

It's weird because on paper this should have been amazing (a girl group as talented as Little Mix on a dance track) but it's just so...boring. :(

Nathan tweeted that he has a full 'timetable' next week to promote!

 

I doubt the girls will have anything to do with it, but we'll see what happens - hopefully the song will get an even higher peak than 19!

I love NTFT's but I think without the girls promoting the song it's not going to get much higher - i'd love to be proven wrong!

Not top 20 in the first look chart... which is one of 2 things:

 

1- they haven't accounted the physical sales yet.

2- they have and it's just doing awfully.

 

I was thinking a climb to like 13/14 this week (and expected a first look of like 6 or something due to lots of streaming missing etc..) with the physical release, so unless it's the 1st one, then that's pretty bad. :/

I'm so confused. Surely it would be higher if the physicals had been added..

 

Even if they had only sold 500 or so that would be enough to put them low top 20 with streaming data missing...

 

Plus it's doing better on streaming platforms this week (Spotify, Apple and Amazon it's been one or two places higher)

I'm a bit annoyed at the physicals...Clearly none of the copies were signed by LM, I've not seen anyone have one with a LM signature on.

 

HMV have the CD single up for pre-order so maybe this does indicate that it just sold terribly and they're pushing stock to HMV?

 

This release is becoming a bit of a disaster, I don't think it's helping that Nathan is becoming SO overly desperate it's cringeworthy.

It's not a disaster. It's still a hit.

 

I just assumed Nathan's team would be on the ball with Spotify playlisting and have it higher on their playlists etc... and given it a similar push to his first 2 singles. I feel like they've relied too much on LM fanbase with this one and I'm kinda disappointed in his team for not pushing this further on platforms that needed it and focussed less on streaming parties and stuff.

Yeah at worst it’s still another song the girls are in that’s been spammed over radio. If anything I feel bad for him, but for them it doesn’t make a difference when Sweet Melody’s in the Top 5 still.

I'm going to assume physicals haven't been added until we get tomorrow's info (usually they find out what data is missing - not sure if that includes physical singles or not though)

It felt very rushed when SM was taking off (I'm guessing because they wanted it put out before Jesy left)

 

Nathan as much as he's been so active in selling the song, the last couple of weeks have been so desperate to the point where it's not really promo and more 'begging'

 

I do think the LM team are trying to forget it, they really haven't pushed it at all besides posting about the video.

 

I do feel a bit sorry for Nathan as SM has just completely taken over and it would have done better in Spring/Summer with the girls in the video (If Jesy hadn't left obvs).

 

At least it went top 20 (Probably because of the mass buy)

 

I can't get over his latest Tweet with this weeks Promo timetable it's like something that's come from a fanbase eeekkk.

It’s probably extremely frustrating for him that his previous singles were much bigger and a collab with one of the biggest acts in the UK is barely making it into the top 20 without begging. I imagine he thought a Little Mix collab would have been an easy top 5 for him.

this. it's probably quite nerve wracking for him considering he's a brand new artist who managed to bag himself a collab with them but out of all his singles it's struggling the most.

 

Also he saw that mixers were able to help Sweet Melody get a decent sales boost but aren't doing anything near the same for No Time for Tears, it's a bit shit lol

A #19 peak is what No Time for Tears deserves, it’s basic and generic.

#22 in the mid weeks...
