November 20, 20204 yr Another great song from Miley, think I'm gonna have to get this album! This is way better than the Beiber Mendes rubbish.
November 20, 20204 yr This is...good! It's almost exactly how you would imagine Miley Cyrus and Dua Lipa to sound together. It's basically a mash up of "Midnight Sky" and "Physical", which is great because those are both good songs but I suppose I was expecting something a bit more elevated from both of them? I mean I'm still going to play this loads, I'm just not bowled over.
November 20, 20204 yr Miley will perform with Dua on her Studio show. Miley also says there's more to come with her and Dua *.* It's stalled though which is frustrating as hell. It’s still gaining everywhere thankfully
November 20, 20204 yr I quite like this but I'm not yet loving it as much as I really want to. It's kind of a bit flat in that it doesn't really grow as the track progresses and I totally agree with those of you grumbling about the trend for sub 3 minute tracks... I think it works sometimes on dance tracks but for pop and alt tracks it usually just kills the momentum early and you know it could have exploded with an extra minute or so - see Rain On Me for example which I'm sure I'd love even more if it wasn't quite so short.
November 20, 20204 yr ^yeah I agree, it feels it needs that moment to explode whether in the chorus or later on in the song but it never gets the chance to do either. I enjoy it but it’s just a nice song, not amazing which is more of a shame considering the song’s in the same vein as Midnight Sky and Dua’s era. I agree about songs being too short nowadays, they’re over just as they’re getting started :(
November 20, 20204 yr This video has been banned in several countries due to what’s going on :frankie:
November 20, 20204 yr Not surprised the videos been banned but it’s a great video and a great song. Their voices really go together on paper I wasn’t sure how it would work but it really does. Dua has really grown a LOT lately like she’s gotten so much more confident and star like and Miley doesn’t at all overpower or outshine her like I feared she could

Agree with all of this — hopefully it sounds better within the album, but right now it's very flat. I'm not entirely sold on the chorus — kills a lot of momentum after the first verse before both plodding along and being over too soon.
November 20, 20204 yr I’m not loving this new trend of songs under 3 minutes. a big final chorus or just a bit of fire would’ve made this worthy of the hype. I totally agree with those of you grumbling about the trend for sub 3 minute tracks... November 21, 20204 yr Looking likely for a top 5 debut in the UK *.* Hopefully it gets pushed up on HHUK throughout the week but that's an excellent start. It's a shame that 'Monster' outstreamed it worldwide but the UK pulling through *.*
