It was good but something definitely seemed off. It’s weird how all Media / newspapers reported that she was performing ‘Big’ too?
February 14, 20214 yr She has been absolutely slaughtered on Twitter tonight... Her public reputation is tarnished now and sadly I do think she will fail to recover successfully from this. As soon as Holly announced she was on after the break, Twitter exploded. Not surprised, she is a tit for what she did but it is a big shame this probably won't take off as a result.

Ahhh that explains it! I watched that same video online that only showed half the performance. It’s doing well on iTunes up to 16 pretty shocked as I thought she’d get completely snubbed given how much hate she got everywhere not just Twitter.

Yes it was wrong and all the rest of it but come on there’s worse going on. Most people have broken a rule in the last year it’s a load of nonsense! February 15, 20214 yr The performance on DOI was decent! Also, I don't think there's been that big of a backlash regarding her birthday party? I saw twitter, but twitter go crazy over any and everything.
February 16, 20214 yr Capital have played Bang Bang tonight - not necessarily a guarantee that it's been playlisted but I'd say it's extremely likely! Outside of the Big Top 40, they rarely play new songs that aren't on their playlist.

February 16, 20214 yr I wouldn't rely too much on Capital's playlist to assess what is and isn't a single, they've playlisted several non-singles before but it wouldn't shock me if they switched the UK focus to Bang Bang, particularly with the DOI performance and it holding up nicely on iTunes since!

It was a stupid move on all accounts but its happened and i feel we need to move on from it. I've never bothered to cast any issues with the situation as i'm a fan of her music and there's nothing more irritating than people slagging someone off and then saying a week later "Rita Ora's new single is a bop". February 17, 20214 yr I adore Rita's music, I'm a huge fan of her in general but I don't think that means you can't be disappointed in her behaviour and expect better. I fully agree that we need to move on at this stage and it's not as serious as the press is making it out to be 2 months on, but expecting better from her isn't the same as slagging her off.
