Regardless of sales/chart positions now it’s all a bonus for me personally - Kylie has a #1, 100k Gold selling album in 6 weeks :cheer:

I’m sure it will feature heavily in the January sales along with everyone else to pick up a few more sales but we are also facing the prospect of another lockdown in England following on from the announcements in NI and Wales.

Disco drops to 42 in Australia this week.

Probably a lot closer in terms of sales between the chart positions

Disco is todays price crash item at HMV!

£5.99 with any purchase!

Great day to have this on a Saturday! Let's hope it helps

I thought this weeks sales would have been higher the week before Christmas but when the number 1 has only sold 27k then that shows how much album sales have tumbled over recent years. It should reach 115k by end of this year!

Well...... There is a pandemic and getting worse.

Less available money, less going to shops, some don't bother shopping, less availability online.

Non of it helps sales for anyone

Kylie commented on the tweet but didn’t retweet it which would have helped with some exposure!

Yes, those factors are all likely to impact but I also think there hasn’t been as many big releases this year compared to some years!

All factors considered Kylie and Disco have avoided a negative impact of Covid 19.

Gold in 5.5 weeks 😜

Good job that offer was on in HMVs today before some close for Tier 4

Good little boost hopefully

Let’s hope that HMV deal pays off with a midweek chart boost on Monday.

What a terrible time for all none essential retail.

I could not agree more! The only good thing about 2020!

Popped into Birmingham city centre earlier...HMV Vaults and HMV bullring, plenty of standard CD, inc a signed one at Vaults (didn’t buy it), no Vinyl in at all. They had the deluxe version in both, found one marked at £10.99 so bought it, they scanned it as £16.99 but had to then charge me the label price after I challenged them...was the deluxe temporarily £10.99 at some point during the price crash?

Vaults was especially quiet... massive store with no footfall, no wonder record sales are dire again in the run up to Christmas.
