High Street sales have stayed buoyant since Wales reopened so hopefully it’ll be the same case for England - plus due to the album already being shipped into HMV and indies already they should have plenty of stock for pick up sales when they do reopen.

Yes, people who aren’t as financially hit will be looking to splash the cash.

Hopefully it can get a good display in shops when they reopen and ideally with a special offering price tag just to grab more casual sales, hopefully disco can stay top 40 until the end of the year and with more promo coming it should manage it.

I have to say I’d be pretty disappointed if it didn’t manage Top 20 through December even with the influx of new releases.

The promo we already know about is good plus it’s holding its own on week 3 on downloads etc., - it really feels like this could be a really good Christmas seller.

Obviously released at a totally different time of year but Golden went 1-4-6-10-13-13 it its first 6 weeks and SBIT 1-2-4-12-18-21

I'd love it to stay top 20 as good promo coming is very helpful. There is still a good buzz around Disco so fingers crossed.

Would love it too but there will also be bargains to be had by some artists if they reduce prices or do the 2 for £15 etc in HMV pre Christmas.

Promo and visibility key.

What will be released on 27th Nov or 4th Dec in terms of a single edit/remix/ep? ....

Disco presents itself at this early stage of staying in the charts for the busy period.

The outlined promo that is spaced out will be very helpful in achieving it.

‘DISCO’ is featured as 1 of 5 albums for ‘Great Gift Ideas’ on the latest HMV e-mail, could help it get a few extra sales - all exposure welcome too

I reckon she'll be top ten tomorrow but could fall to #12-#15 by EOW. That said, I concur with a lot of posts here. More than Golden (which was like her LY), "Disco" feels like her "Fever" - good media coverage, good reviews, and a superstar doing what she does best - a pop / dance /disco album.

My guess is - this season will have high debuts all Dec long (like we saw with Busted, Paloma, etc.) but will fall faster than her, which means she'll be hanging around the top 20.

if only they could announce Infiite Disco on ITV sometime between 15-24 Dec, that'll seal the deal!

The problem with ID being televised is that people have paid to see the exact same content. Wouldn't be a bit unfair to broadcast it for free? It is not comparable to regular live event imo.

I guess the only way around this would be an edited version? I actually don’t think it’s suited for TV anyway - it was definitely a bit of a fan event only

THis is truly a fantastic album... what other Kylie records pop off as much as this one? I only really remember listenign to 'Fever', 'Golden' and 'Kiss Me Once' and whilst they have MOMENTS... this is one giant triumph... any others?

Can't see it not being used somewhere.

You go watch a film at cinema and pay for it then watch it on TV for free at a later date.....

It was only 30,000 viewers worldwide so what 5,000-10,000 in the UK only.....

And the majority of those UK fans would love to watch it again and not care a hoot if they have paid for it or not already

I think this takes it to another level for Kylie - the album is SO consistent, literally nothing one track I want to skip.

I would also add ‘Light Years’ to the list you mentioned, again it has some bangers but some off point moments too, DISCO for me is definitely her most consistent album.

Loving Disco.

There are so many good songs that you can listen to the album thinking all the best songs have been on only for them to continue

I think something will happen with it, I’m just not convinced it’ll be a TV show - I can definitely see it being available for download via Kylie.com like ‘Golden Live’ is or being added to a deluxe CD re-issue.

Disco, could start the week lower than its final Friday position if some new albums are front loaded.
