I said something similar on SH

The album is about to go Gold, has had a positive reception outside of the fanbase and is shaping up to being her biggest selling album with BMG and yet some of the comments I read (particularly on SH) would make a reader believe the album had gone 1-33-98-out

There is literally nothing left for her to do promo wise - she’s even done shows she’s never touched before such as Sunday Brunch etc.,

The comments about availability are tiresome - there are standard CDs and vinyl available yet again reading comments across multiple platforms you would believe there wasn’t a copy to be found

It is very tiresome indeed and I feel a lot of Kylie fans need to move on. I love reading and replying on this forum but seeing the some comments over and over and over again about basically nothing is getting very tiring. Like I said, we should celebrate how well she is doing and how much the album has sold already. Most fans have their copies already and the general public are honestly not looking for a deluxe version on her website, they will stream, download or pick up a copy in HMV/Tesco when they are out and about.

Yes and people are also looking for exciting presents for Kylie fans etc, not just the standard :yahoo:

We do plenty of praising also on here

The promotion by Kylie and the team has been highly impressive when we look at the situation.

There is very little more that could be done.

A Number 1 album with the second highest opening sale of the year, higher opening sales than her previous 3 albums, a month with top 10 status and Gold status in 5 weeks is a more than positive outcome.

That’s such a huge drop though, genuinely expected it to stabalise 10-15 as a worst case scenario

Yes but there is only a small margin of something like 5k sales between no5 and no20 in the charts. It’s still selling pretty well given it’s been out 5 weeks now!

Down 7 to 56 here in Ireland this week which im happy with

Great that it’s still in the charts and selling :cheer: Is Jonathan Ross shown in Ireland?

Falls from 2 to 21 in vinyl chart.......

That's where the sales struggled this week and I won't say it again but you know why.........

#19

8,267 sales (98,157 total)

That sales tally after 5 weeks :cheeseblock:

Oh wow this album will easily outsell Golden!!
Fingers crossed it does and it doesnt fade awat faster than we think but at a bet i think it will outsell Golden.

Not that many new releases over next 3 weeks or in January so take out Xmas albums in a few weeks time. It should stay top 40 until end of January I reckon?

Let's see what else is planned.

Interesting to see what happens in January - it’s a really quiet time. All the main places had Golden in the January sales so hopefully there will be a price reduction for Disco, video for RG and followed shortly afterwards by a Brits Nomination (Wishful thinking :kink:)

This Week -

Physical Chart #17

Sales Chart #18

Download Chart #19

Vinyl Chart #21

Scottish Charts #17

Well it’s great Disco will go Gold this weekend. It should hang around in the T30 this week.
