Congrats Cody! And thank you to everyone who voted for Ruben/Mosquetania!! Happy to see I proved the odds wrong (which funny enough was just Cody and me lmao!) and placed top 10! To be fair I didn’t predict Everglow to do much better so I guess we both did better than the other thought we would!

When the leaderboard looked like this I worked out who was still to vote and I thought I'd do well to reach Cor Lupus score then, and I beat it by 1 so solid predicting!

Congrats to Cody for getting the first ever K-Pop winner and it was a great song to do it with, I cannot be mad at it denying me the win, not like it was particularly close (and I was still fully expecting to land somewhere in the 20s despite all hype so I'm over the moon about Leww's hype turning out to be on the money).

amazed to see Persephonia come 2nd, absolutely well deserved too, a real standout of your entries of recent times.

Well, congrats Cody on that impressive third win! I guess it's quite a nice little song that I see the appeal of, though I'm still quite flabbergasted at the points difference between all the K-Pop songs! The Brédesmaid curse strikes again I see :'( Although obvs wonderful to see that and Utopia do so well (the latter's Veridis Quo sample *.*)

 

How annoying that my other medal positions, Aeroche and Jadakissnia both narrowly missed the top 10 and 20 though, though I can't complain with the song that beat it in the former's case and in the latter's, it allowed Seyetana to get top 20 :cheeseblock:

I went from 11th in the semi to 30th I'm the final :lol: it was an extremely strong final so I am happy.

Well done Cody, very rare for my 18 to win these days, but it did sound like a relatively easy winner and I'm glad it came to pass :cheer: So crazily infectious.

 

And my 15 also in the top three *.* and 13 in the top 10. Well done Jack and Dandy, very happy to see them both do so well, just a shame the latter isn't available to stream/download. Fantastic result for Utopia getting an indie song into the top five too, what a great sample.

 

The the whole top ten was pretty great, I liked all the songs I didn't vote for in it too. Could definitely have envisaged Altyr and danæviia both ending up a few places higher, but they both did really well anyway.

 

Down the other end, Mulgracia and Kathaldazia both deserved way better - amazed Millie Turner finished that low but Afro House always criminally underperforms.

 

Thanks for the great hosting throughout Jake! We will cross everything to make it into the final next month, sitting out two months in a row is not too fun, but luckily the quality was so high in this final that it kept me engaged.
